The Jays have had Team of Destiny vibes since late June. They're special.

The next two weeks are going to be a battle, but that's the postseason.

LETS DO THIS.

is Bo full recovered and have his full range or does he take 2nd, for example.

George's sore knee adds a wrinkle to putting him in the outfield

If he were back, I'd be cool bringing Bo off the bench for game 1 and keeping Springer at DH.

Perfect opportunity to put Bo at 2nd,since thats where he should have always been.No way he should be at short with his knee/shin.

Yeah, we've been slightly spoiled in some ways even though we don't go deep into the playoffs very often. I was thinking the Bautista home run (and Carter to a lesser extent) going into the later stages of the game because I'm just SO USED to them happening in moments like these. Then someone on twitter says this **** just doesn't happen often, and I go "wow really?" because I figured they must happen on a semi regular basis over the years.

it's seriously true. if you look at real iconic mlb moments over the past ten years, like the jose/edwin home runs, they all pretty much belong to us. even the carter homer if you stretch further back.

and now you can add the george homer to that list. i think having the dome also really helps in terms of the noise factor. it's really unique now.

Pinch hitter only. Leave the rest the same.

Loperfido stays home.

Agreed, zero chance Bo starts in any game. If he does miraculously make the WS roster, it will be as a PH exclusively. Zero chance in hell you make a proven playoff performer like Springer play in the outfield after what he's done with the bat all year. Clearly being the full time DH completely revitalized him. They're not gonna mess with that to start Bo who is at 25-30% max.

Hoffman was characteristically flirting with the zone. Those last 2 full-count-strikeouts were technically balls. Things could’ve imploded very badly. He didn’t actually pitch great, but it’s the results.

Very odd that a 3-2 pitch MUST be a strike or it's not a good pitch. You do realize pitches move right? Sometimes they start in the zone and end up out of it. That's how you fool hitters and get them to swing and miss lol

Schneider made a lot of good decisions these past 2 games after being blasted for game 5.

9 eventual strikes and 3 straight stick outs with Raleigh on deck in a 1 game lead is huge. Doesn’t matter if it wasn’t textbook or pretty. He eventually fooled all 3.

I would have hated for the Jays to be eliminated, and the defining moment for the years to come being Schneider's decision to bring in Little. It would have pretty much erased all of the great and exciting moments this team has provided us throughout the year. I am glad we can put Game 5 behind us.

That’s the thing about the zone… the first two strikeouts especially were close enough to the zone to swing at. Those high fastballs are easy to see on tv as being balls, but when you’re at bat, they’re so close to the zone that you have to swing at them. Unless you’re Juan Soto, in the fraction of a second to make a decision, to a hitter those balls can easily look like strikes. His location was great. The only at bat he kind of got away with was the Rodriguez at bat. Rodriguez chased 2 pitches that started off outside the zone, so he kind of got lucky. But that’s baseball.
