Underrate this team. Keep talking about Dodgers being heavy favourites.

One thing I will say is that the MLB media shows a ton of respect for this team from USA. Very different than the NBA American media xenophobia that exists. It’s a breath of fresh air.

It will be an uphill battle but this team does better as underdogs.

No one picked us to win against the Yankees and most people picked the Mariners to win.

Absolutely no one is picking us in the World Series.

Jays were larger favourites in the ALCS vs the Mariners than they were underdogs in the divisional vs the Yanks.

MJ would still be Ohtani there has never been a baseball player like him. Not saying he's the goat cause of counting stats, but his ability to be an Ace pitcher and amazing at bat at the same time is truly mythical.

Even in the losses it felt like we were the better team. The bats were too good to not take over eventually. The bullpen I definable doubts about but we have ways to patch it up with our starters going forward.

Bichette says he’s back too, so that will be huge going forward.

It will probably come own to whether Bo Bichette (2nd most hits in the majors this season despite not playing the last 20 games) can (a) be available and (b) play a position that doesn't hurt us defensively.

I'm fairly confident they can beat the Dodgers....there's a reason why Dodgers fans were cheering for Seattle to advance instead.

But they need Vladdy to continue playing like a supsertar, and if Bo returns he can't be rusty.

This is what I’m worried about too. They’ve been playing great defense and don’t want to mess with that. His bat is super valuable but not worth it if he’s not at his best defensively.

I had forgotten what it was like to be in that place when it's full and & filled with loud, energized fans. I haven't experienced it since the 90's.

People think Scotiabank/ ACC get's loud and crazy? Rogers/ Skydome is on another level. 60-70000 people all cheering/ chanting & going crazy. It's an incredible experience. Like nothing else in Canada.

It's truly like being at a Coliseum. Vladdy is our Maximus.

I have been so used to American NBA players seemingly "trying to say the right things". Almost like its forced sometimes. We have had a few honest guys who loved it here....Derozan was one. Nobody of Vladdy's stardom though.

Vladdy is genuine. We are lucky to have him.
