I know I’m a little late but season about to start and I know a lot of people like them here. They won’t be on opening night and won’t be on as much but at least we get to see them in the opening week of the NBA.

Interesting

I thought they'd be on way more frequently

In the words of the Chuckster, "it's going to be interesting" to see how it works on ESPN.

The one month gaps from November-December, December-January, and March-April are unacceptable.

ESPN normally shows 20 minutes of ads during each 15 minute halftime, so it was probably hard to squeeze them in

They should make those last days interesting. Making everyone of those a Gradey Dick day regardless of relevance would be a start

I've always found Barkley/Shaq boring, but can't wait to see Michael Jordan on the air at NBC, he's the best person I've ever met and watching him will be a dream come true :D Jordan's got more charisma in his little finger than Barkley/Shaq have in their entire tongues.

Irregular scheduling making it hard to maintain ratings, are ESPN trying to get rid of them?

They should have just had their retirement tour last year & went out their way. ESPN will never let them be themselves the way TNT did. Why even have them if only for 20 nights anyway??

Honestly, I love the show & their chemistry, but I started getting tired of their "I'm the authority on basketball even though I don't watch games" gimmick. It may be good for the sport for Stephen A & those kind of guys to have their voices minimized.

I haven't watched NBC in preseason but I'm excited to see how they cover the game.

What's the point to carry them over to ESPN, and barely have them on? Cuz month long gaps is crazy. They are very popular.

ESPN is probably just trying to save money.
I notice on ESPN First Take we still have to hear Molly and Stephen A and all of them cough and sneeze disgustingly, because ESPN won't fork out the money for a cough button.
I've been asking them to invest in this revolutionary technology for years, but no, the coughing and sneezing continues...

The March-April gap was to be expected because Ernie, Chuck & Kenny work the ncaa tournament.

Only one date in November and December is terrible, though. Ridiculous.

Peacock was reportedly among the bidders in the WBD sale. Could there eventually be a more direct Turner/NBA reunion that bypasses the weird ESPN arrangement?

They could’ve at least put them on twice or something in both November and December. The gaps is crazy
