Not a single quote from Westbrook directly to or about LeBron. Just a bunch of innuendo, speculation, and gossip. In today's times, it's never been easier to be a "journalist."

I have seen that movie once, I am not really a fan, also haven't read material it is based on. I remember young Pacino explaining his girlfriend about this, explaining how his don made offer the guy couldn't refuse, but I am not sure this quote you are saying is in a movie, I feel it is one of those things where everyone assumes its a quote from a movie altho its not. But I am not a fan of a movie and do not remember well, so maybe I am wrong, or maybe its from a second movie, I have only seen the first one.

It is in the movie. It would have been much quicker for you to google it than to make this post, lol. I mean it's arguably the most famous film quote in history.

Westbrook is one of the most bothered players in the NBA, what are you talking about? Lol.

The guy freaks out over something as mild as being called Westbrick. He maybe cares more than anyone except KD.

Seriously. There are so many good quotes from that movie.

“We’re on a mission from God.”

“Life isn’t about how many times you get hit; it’s about how many times you get back up.”

“You had me at hello.”

Everyone knows these lines are from the Godfather. And then Westbrook gets mad at LeBron later for quoting Will Smith movies? Does he want LeBron to quote movies or not?

Man who cares. LeBron has been in the NBA for 2 decades. If he was such a bad teammate he'd have a lot more past teammates talking crap about him by now. This is all rumor mill mean girl nonsense anyway. Like seriously, who cares. Someone whining about someone being "fake" is such a crybaby thing to do

Oh, ok. It is one of the most famous quotes I guess, not sure it is the famous scene, cause I can't recall when exactly it is said, when I think of that movie, first quote and scene that comes to my mind is - look how they massacred my boy.

NBA reporters must’ve been so frustrated they couldn’t generate a week’s with of content speculating that this quote means a trade is incoming.

lol right, it’s one thing to call Bron image-obsessed and calculated (he 100% is) but to act like Russ is some pure soul who doesn’t care what people think is utterly ridiculous.

you guys find the most pathetic stuff to hate on Lebron for.

But I'm certain Jordan is well aware of your fine work, and your personalized signed shoes are headed your way.....

When your big criticisms are taco Tuesday, he doesn't have Godfather memorized, and The Decision, you know you got absolutely nothing. For a guy who has been the face of the league for 2 decades.

I think the underlying idea that he’s a self-serving person who is that insecure is actually note worthy. I don’t think hate is the thing it deserves but if you’re the dude with “Chosen One” tattooed on his back, who visually puts a crown on his head, but you’re too insecure to admit you don’t know a movie…that says something. Something truly great doesn’t play that **** and isn’t that weak minded.

Westbrook was one of the worst players in the league in terms of contract-impact ratio.

He was a walking commercial of Shaq'tin a Fool.

He was also a diva who didn't get criticism well when he deservedly was meme'd for his performances.

This is a ridiculous revisionism that people are trying to give him any benefit of the doubt points for that disappointment.

I love that this article makes the whole Will Smith visit thing look like a huge deal and a bombshell revelation when it's actually a complete nothingburger. and the dialogue between Patbev and Russ sounds completely made up, if a former MVP on a max contract wanted to leave a meeting with Will Smith, he'd have done it and nobody would have stopped him.

Okay Dr. Jung lol.

I would say those who truly believe Mike to be the GOAT wouldn't be so insecure as to need to hunt for things like this to criticize Lebron for, but the issue there is even they know deep down Lebron had the superior career. But they want so badly for the opposite to be true, they resort to silliness.

I've never understand why its so hard to give someone his due? Like I'm a huge Dirk homer. And Tim Duncan got in his way a lot. But its not hard for me to simply acknowledge the obvious truth that Timmy was better. And here's the amazing thing--Duncan being great doesn't make Dirk any less great.

For some reason some folks find it all zero sum. So if Lebron is great it somehow harms their hero. But it doesn't. Mike's incredible career is no less incredible just because Lebron came along.

Hope when he's gone you guys appreciate this guy. For his play and for the utter lack of any negatives worth mentioning for the team athlete with infinitely more scrutiny than any other North American athlete ever. And by a huge margin.

He served the league well.
