“I wanted to go somewhere they wanted me. I wanted to go somewhere where they had some dogs. And I’ve found that here. They work hard. They do things the right way. They compete. They want to win. That’s what I’m about."

“Nobody really knew who was in charge. I think that was my biggest issue. I didn’t know who to talk to.”

Jimmy in 2019 made us feel like GSW feels now.

Bam Adebailoa massive overpay cost us Jimmy and now Herro is likely next to leave. Sad.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Jimmy in 2019 could actually carry a team. Now he’s just acting like a B grade diva.

Theoretical question, is Jakucionis future with the Heat is to play next to Herro or to replace Herro?

He is replacing Herro due to the massive overpay of Bam. Similar to what we’re developing Jovic to do at the 3 to replace Jimmy

I think he will be developed and traded, along with Herro. So neither.

Why are we still talking about Jimmy? That was a worse beat down of our front office than the beat down the Cavs gave us in the playoffs. Jimmy got exactly what he wanted, he got the money, he got sent to a great geographic location and a great location for marketing reasons. He flat out unequivocally won.

Let's just look forward to the future. The first game starts tomorrow and hopefully we see something positive improvements. Hopefully Wiggins has a good game.

I like Jimmy. He was actually disgusted in losses. Florida teams lately have this carefree attitude about losing. Regular season, pre season, playoffs shouldn't matter we should play every game to win. Miami does have agendas and hills players out of games for them. Miami wants to keep wares value low so I don't anticipate him being the focus on anything unless spo job is threatened. We are way too comfortable losing. 0 - eternity in preseason, I'm supposed to be cool with that? I'll still watch my guys but we know what it is already.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Watching some of the plays run from the last preseason games. The first time I actually seen plays run during the preseason. This horns set is a play that I couldnt understand how Rozier couldn't run this play. This play is built for his type of talent.

Seriously though, I really do feel that Bam will be forced to come out of his shell atleast to start the season. How I see it going, Bam playing his usual style trying to setup Powell on his “Duncan” sets, and getting some buckets here and there while the Heat lose a few games.

The fans and the media start getting on Bam to be more assertive after all the losses.

Bam goes super saiyan mode in response.

Or he just does that right out of the gate. Either way, this is the year!

The now is to play with Tyler Herro, but if the Heat can pull off a trade for a superstar in the future. He will replace Herro. I think Jakucionis maybe already better defensively than Herro.

He got all of that and we didnt have to pay an over the hill diva 55 million a year to play 50% of games or listen to his wack ass country playlists. Maybe both sides got what was needed in separating. But agreed we should move on, he’s the past.

Got this from the Heat Locked On podcast. Trade Tyler Herro for assets to avoid the extension and extend Powell for 2 years at a reasonable cost.

Jakucionis could start in his place. We would have Kas as the playmaker and Powell as the scorer.

If Herro is ever traded it should be as part of package that returns a ready made star player. This is a completely pie in the sky scenario, but say Minnesota struggles and there's even an inkling that Ant wants out - a package of players and picks there would make sense. Trading Herro for theoretical assets and then extending a 32 yo Powell doesn't really add up. You'd still be a middle of the road team hoping for somebody to be available via trade.

Want to hear something wild? If you combined the first year salaries of the Big 3 ...

Lebron: $14,500,000
Bosh: $14,500,000
Wade: $14,200,000
===================
Total $43,200,000

... they'd be ~ the 26th highest paid player in the NBA this coming season.

Steph is making more by himself this season than the entire team salary cap for that '10-'11 season.

Was there a deadline for the extension? Are we in the clear of this talk for now?
