I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

NBA is actively becoming the most elitist, exclusionary sport to watch/attend of all the major leagues, and it really sucks since I've always been a basketball guy over all else. Silver lapping up that Saudi and UAE blood money while telling us peasants to "go watch the highlights on youtube then if you can't afford to drop hundreds of dollars on 8 different streamers you **** poors" was pretty much the point where I realized that these dudes are just saying the quiet part out loud and don't even care about the optics anymore.

More positive news to start the year for the Bucks. I think Wes will be much better in that role once he gets comfortable.

Who's the new backup color person? I assume Marques is still going to be on a limited slate.
Wait is 'next season' the season that starts tomorrow? Or is it 26-27?

Wes did color commentary for the last preseason game

Yes. He retired and is back in the area.
He did color commentary for a few Marquette games last year and was good, just inexperienced. I thought he was pretty good for the last Bucks game too. Having played with Giannis he had some good analysis and stories. I think he will be pretty good once he gets more comfortable in the role.

I thought Wes was fine. Already better than Novak and will certainly get better as he builds chemistry with people.

Wes was raw but has potential. Moncrief and Tony Smith were raw and had potential but didn't work out. Hopefully Wes does. Marques turns 70 in February, hopefully he sticks around for awhile.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I thought Wes excelled at not being Novak.

That account is often wrong about stuff. Hopefully that's not the case.

Wes has a big learning curve IMO. Then again if he’s just the backup and studio host he can learn on the job.

Yeah, the fact this news came out today is confusing.
Do they mean he's out as of right now, or are they saying he is back but this will be his final season?

I like Wes. He's a likeable charismatic personality with good stories and can talk X's and O's. Most importantly, he doesn't drone on and on about the most mundane things like Novak lol.
