I've been watching random old clips lately. How great are these highlights? So many legends on that Sixers team in Erving, Malone, Barkley, Cheeks, Jones and McAdoo. A lot of those guys were old, but they felt contender-worthy and scary deep. Barkley is just a complete athletic monster here and the game-winner by Erving is something else.

Watching Reed Shepherd since he has come up here recently. Boy, he looks really limited. He seems to have trouble getting anywhere off the dribble... he's just constantly being stopped by his defender and having to get rid of the ball. I know it's only a game, but I'm not seeing a meaningful NBA player at the moment.

Was seeing the same thing. Hou would really benefit from some of our guys...a deal for Eason or Smith would be interesting.

He may ultimately become a JJ Redik type of player from the looks of it.

It was funny before the game when they asked a few players “What are your memories of the NBA on NBC in the 90’s?” and they all offered some version of “I don’t know, I wasn’t born yet.”

Thank goodness Presti makes some mistakes, I can't imagine what kind of dynasty OKC would have if they kept Sengun.
And Jaden McDaniels.

Ayton’s hair color makes him look like he’s in his 70s. He looks like Delroy Lindo with blond braids. Like if you ran into Delroy today on the street.

They lost by 1 point in double OT on the road against the best team in the league after leading most of the game. Bit early to write them off.

I watched the whole game.

When you can’t shoot you have a very thin margin to win. You basically have to win big everywhere else. No way they’ll be able to do that.

Reed looked bad too. They need a PG and shooting bad.

Edwards answered it. To be honest they just come across as adolescent.

I do like they're doing something completely different than the rest of the league. Everyone else is running very guard heavy, Houston is basically playing only 1 guard and off the bench, Reed. Reminds me of older eras when teams would just try weird stuff and see if it works, like Anthony Mason at PG.

They're also freakishly big and athletic and have some guys with extremely high BBIQ. Not to mention Durant is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. They'll easily clear 50 wins as constructed.

That said, they're obviously a team that could really use Coby. Even Huerter would be a nice fit for them.
