If this is what we get from Lonzo... just sees every opening in transition and semi-transition
That 2021-22 Bulls team before all the injuries was fun. Not sure if stats back it though.

They were the #1 seed in the East through 60 games, i did just look that up.

Sucks that Hunter picked up a right knee contusion in this game, hopefully he's ready in 1 week.

Ball's best game by a mile. Merrill matters especially against a team like Pistons that's so aggressive on defense they have problems staying home. Mobley didn't look particularly comfortable with how physical the game was being played. Hopefully, that's a bridge he crosses this season.

Very good Dean Wade game too. 15 points, doing stuff besides shooting 3s, and while he missed a couple bunnies at the rim, he got the basket after the rebound twice. A lot of that is how well Ball got the bench offense flowing.

Bad offensive night for Mobley-- most shots on the team, but eighth in points. 5 assists though. Great defensive night for him too.

And now the final E10 player has been waived.

I understand them not wanting to fill spot 15, for financial reasons but they should fill the final two-way spot, it has zero cap implications.

So what if Jaylon Tyson is just actually good? Meaning he plays real NBA minutes and hits his threes, makes good cuts, gives the extra pass, and plays good on and off-ball D.

Would he just take the Dean Wade minutes once everyone is back?

I was extremely impressed with him this preseason. I know its just preseason, but he was just doing the right things almost all the time

Sounds like a good problem to have, especially with Wade expiring and never having played more than 63 games in a season.

He has been working hard. I worry that he is too mistaken-prone still for a team looking to make a championship run. But he does look like an NBA player, or at least close enough to fill in.

Cavs lose another assistant but he will fulfill his role this season at least.

Kobe Bufkin or Tyler Smith for the two-way?

I think he'll be a quintessential role player in that if you ask him to do more than defend, rebound, collect garbage points, and hit an occasional open three, he's going to get into trouble. On this team, however, he really shouldn't have to do anything else.

In the short term, I assume Tyson will start if Hunter is injured. I really do want to throw him to the wolves and just see what he looks like in real NBA minutes

CBS had the assumption Wade will get the nod but i guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Sucks to already be hit with the injury bug again, early this season.

Better than the end of the season ig. Does make the beginning of the season a little anti-climatic

The luck of the past 4 seasons, it could be both.

Its always possible, but I am going to stay positive. I thought we did almost everything right last season and it still ended with 3/4 of our best 4 players hobbled. Its our best chance yet to make it out of the East and I am going to act like it until I don't think its true lol

Hahaha, i like the positivity! We'll have to see how the season plays out.
