Reed is a solid prospect but he is not ready for this role on a team with championship aspirations

He could be useful as a off ball SG who comes off screens, gets open 3 looks and runs an occasional Pnr. But he is clearly not a PG. this FVV injury really ficked them

I'm not sure he can even do that tbh. His teammates are trying really hard to cover for him on defense. That last Mitchell three was given up because Durant went to help Reed in the paint.

Oh yeah on defense he is a cone lol. Will never be good enough on offense to warrant playing him on D.
Now idea how he got to be the 3rd pick.

I think Rockets need about 20 games for Udoka to figure out the roles, rotations, and get some play sets ironed in.

Agree, some people expect everything to click right away. It’s going take some time for the team to gel together

I don't like KD but the man is a generational bucket. Houston was the perfect destination for him too

The Rockets would be competitive on size alone. No matter how silly the shots look, with Sengun/Adams/Capela they can grab offensive rebounds almost every time.

And also, Reed Shepherd can probably get traded after this game. Good thing he could shoot a little bit, he has no awareness on both sides of the court

yeah if it was just his defense that would be one thing, but he's also a complete black hole on offense. moves the ball even less than KD

There’s this one possession he dribbled the air out of the ball while KD & Sengun are on his side, then when he had nowhere to go, he decides to pass to Sengun with his back to the basket at the 3 point line with 4 seconds left to shoot. If I was Udoka, he should be done for the night right there.

I'm on an apple tv. Just tested again and I can rewind as long as the game is on. I only get a pause option during commercial breaks. Strange.

Guess they think it's more important to be able pause the commercial while you take a piss.

was just thinking about it... my cynical brain is thinking that it is about not being able rewatch the game while the ads are running and then fast-forwarding back to live action... hence forcing you to watch the ads.

AJ Mitchell is going to surprise a lot of people. He was having a great rookie season until he got hurt. He would have helped OKCs lack of a backup ball handler a lot last year.

Also I saw him on Friday at a coffee shop by me and told him he should only do good things tonight so credit where its due (to me).
