He played most of his games in Portland outside of some injuries and tanking. He’s not rusty, he’s just not that good as everyone thinks he should be… and injury prone.

I told all your fellow Laker fans to temper your expectations with Ayton. He was an improvement over… literally nothing at the C spot… but he’s not a player that’s gonna take you to another level. Hes a warm body who 6 times out of 10 won’t actually hurt the team by being on the court.
