Amazing that the Pacers are still in it, will be even more if they can stay close the whole game.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

What a shame to see the Pacers run go out in this way

Hate to see Hali go down like that, and I hope he recovers completely and quickly.
This OKC team is really good with their D and offensive rebounding. Without Hali, it makes it that much more easy for OKC to keep Indiana’s scorers in check. Congrats to both teams and especially to OKC for a great season.

Absolutely -- & it was a great Finals series as well. At least until Haliburton went down.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 6
How many players have had a previously diagnosed calf strain and ultimately ended up tearing their achilles? I feel like this is the 4th or 5th player this year that it's happened to. Obviously I'm not a doctor but it feels like there is a correlation between a calf strain and Achilles. Tyrese was never going to sit out but its not a shocker it happened. Sucks too b/c I thought Indy looked good from the jump and probably could have won.

I had to turn the game off after the injury. Too depressing to see in that situation.

The Suns trashed the Lakers without playing a Center (Maluach played 9 min in garbage time), Bronny went 1-12.

Chet is earning his giant pay raise, he hasn’t missed a shot early-on.

I don't think the big starting lineup will work for Houston. 3 non shooters and not enough ball handling.

Sheppard is unplayable defensively though.

When I've watched Sheppard his defense has been fine but he's struggled with turnovers.

OKC has been going at him every play, with role players lol

I am still in the first half, but I watched Houston several times last year. I've seen guys try to post him up and as soon as they catch the ball he steals it. He gets a lot of deflections and some blocks.
Sometimes he will force a guy to drive into help then block them from behind. Obviously dort was able to overpower him

That boy looks to be struggling quite a bit tonight... Not quick enough to blow by guys, and his shot wasn't falling tonight.... They are definitely going to need him to step up as him and KD are there only real perimeter threats......

Houston lost.
It must have been all Sengun's fault. The consensus here is that Alperen is a liability.
Durant had a bad last play. SGA owned him on the perimeter.

NBC >>>> ABC/ESPN in presentation..
I wish they'd use the version of Roundball Rock they used on TV from 1990-2002. They're using the original track which is long winded and repetitive.

I like Amen Thompson but his inability to shoot really hurts. Sheppard's shooting tonight oddly isn't unusual. He's scoring efficiency has been consistently awful in the NBA. Not sure what to make of that.

Poor Reed, he is what he is, he will have some big games though on offense.
