I understand moving up Friday's game but why are they moving up next Wednesday's game? Aren't the Jays playing in LA?

Ya, I doubt many people will be tuning into the raptors if they are conflicting with the Jays in any way. Its a smart move.

I didn't know they could do that last minute. It makes perfect sense but they should offer full refunds to ticket holders who can't just change their schedule like that at the last minute.

They don't want people conflicted and to overlap with the Raps - so they are doing the best they can to put all the attention on the Jays / seperate the viewers

Not too many people will take notice if the Raptors/Leafs lose while the WS is sucking up the spotlight - the guys can take a nice vacation. :D

I agree with scottie. But CMB gets the benefit of the doubt, as he only just started his career.

When is the last time the Raptors opened a season without an African born player on the roster or 2 way? Is this likely the result of a change from Masai to Bobby or just a coincidence?

At least we'll have the Blue Jays to take the sting out if they completely suck for a few weeks lol.

It's a coincidence because an African born player was just waived due to a life threatening condition.

Well, at least we still have our FRP.

I feel no pressure this season. It's auditioning time for everyone including Bobby at the top. A clean slate for all to start the season the way I see it.

Thats wrong... there's tons of pressure this season. If we suck then enjoy sucking for another 5 years and it officially becomes the dark times like pre-masai. If we do well, it could be the start of the uptick like when we first hired Masai.

Womp womp…

Yak not being listed at all is encouraging but it is surprising that Jakone would be ruled completely out for illness more than 24 hours before the game. He must be really out of commission. CMB’s injury designation is forearm strain not contusion like they were reporting previously, hopefully that doesn’t indicate something more significant.

Forearm strain? Must be missing his gf.

Where the hell did you get that Chomche has a life threatening condition?
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.
