That's not going to help you read buddy. Several people fully understood it and are discussing it with me so don't worry about it. It was meant for people who can do it.

I admit I did not feel like translating but it was not that important.

It was a nonsensical take and not worth further notice.

For the next [emoji2[emoji2391]9[emoji2391]] years - Amen Thompson or Cooper Flagg

I’ve come away a bit disappointed with Amen as a defensive prospect. I’ve heard people saying he would be racking up DPOY awards if not for Wemby and idk. He very very talented and I’m sure he will be a top defender. But he is missing something re his spatial awareness or maybe it’s just understanding on defense. He isn’t thinking so much as reading.

For matchups vs most star wings I’d prefer someone like Dort who really forces players where he wants them to go.

Flagg is a much better prospect overall, so you obviously go with him, unless of course you have tons of shooting, and you are literally one elite perimeter defender away from true contention. So maybe, for example, the Cavs would choose Thompson over Flagg for the next 5. And maybe some other teams. If you are asking which one would you have without a time constraint, probably even Rockets fans would choose Flagg. Heck, they would probably trade Sheppard, Jabari Smith and Thompson for him.

Flagg will probably be around where Thompson was last year, if not better, as a rookie. He doesn't have a fatal flaw in his game either. Amen Thompson is a really good player with awesome potential, but he's not on Flagg's level as a prospect.

And you would be fired immediately as a GM or scout. Im not sure if you're just being contrarian for the sake of it, but Cooper has played against NBA players and has shown more on offense than Amen ever has.

Amen shot .536 his rookie year, .557 his 2nd year, and yesterday he shot .471 and scored 18 points despite going 0-7 downtown.
As the commentator said, Amen Thompson looked like Penny Hardaway with that move. He's so athletic and so great at getting into the paint, if Amen ever develops a 3-point shot he may become the best guard (and maybe the best PLAYER, considering he's an elite defender too) in the NBA.

He's on his third year though and his 3PT shot still looks broken. I mean after this year if his percentages are still awful people need to stop with the if and just assume he won't

I assume he won't, but I know its possible he will, and I mention it because the implications of it happening are far greater in his case because he ticks the other boxes so adding a 3-point becomes worth mentioning. People said it about Ben Simmons for many years too...

I mean, shrug. Amen went 3-10 in his first NBA game with 4 TOs and a -34 plus/minus. Now 3 years later he's a different and better player. I'm not going to compare him to a teenage rook who just played the first game of *his* career, and who almost certainly will become a different and better player.

And really it was a solid opener for Flagg, considering his team got annihilated, he got 10 points, 10 rebounds.
Even the very best superstars have worse games than that.
Yes he took 13 shots to score 10 points, but we've seen superstars and legends attempt over 20 shots to score 10 points.

I love Amen's game, but Cooper's last 3-5 years will most likely be better than any of Thompson's years. Him having such a bad jumper while also getting the minutes he does says a ton about the player he is. By the way, Thompson, at 21, in his rookie year, averaged 5 points and rebounds per game in his first 9 games.

My mind hasn't changed at all. Amen still has that one glaring flaw in his game. Judging by Cooper's free throw shooting he is going to be a deadeye shooter once he gets a little more comfortable with the league and gets a chance to play in a functional offense, this makes his ceiling higher

Even if you traded Flagg for Amen right now Houston would still be good and Dallas would still suck
