Is Kuminga the most delusional player in the NBA?

He's definitely a better player in his head than he actually is

He could be a Jaylen Brown 2.0 ( perfect ceiling outcome) or he could more likely become a more athletic but less skilled Earl Clark if everything doesn't fall in his favor perfectly. Definitely not a max player even if on unrealized potential.

Apparently Mark Williams is available to play in the opener but will be minutes restricted.....

So no one has explained to me why we're load managing him already?

Apparently, because of his concerning injury history, the suns approach is just really precautionary because they're trying to build up his strength and durability to try and make him more durable for a long season.

I get the rationale for wanting to make sure we get him right so he can be as healthy as possible over the long season but we also traded for him on 26 June, that's almost 4 months ago. As far as we know, he hasn't been nursing any injuries that made the news so we have to assume he's been largely healthy, yet after 3 months, he's played no preseason games, he was held out of 5 on 5s until recently and while it's great he's available for the 1st game of the season, he'll be minute restricted...so like we've had 4 months to get him right and we're still babying him into the early part of the season.

None of this inspires confidence

He's entirely a buy-low gamble (that we didn't actually buy that low ). All of the information presented so far indicates that he's a 40-50 game player. They're banking on him showing a level of availability that he has yet to show in his entire career, which means the odds say its a losing bet, though they took it anyway. They have to hit on some of these gambles to have any hope of improving this team. This isnt the gamble I'd have taken, but

Point Book doesnt work. I think im stating the obvious but what I am a little angry about Booker is pulling a Kyler Murray right now. Dude is getting paid top 10
In the league but giving bottom 10 effort and leadership.

No one should be happy with him or defending him right now. If you are then ask yourself if you are a Booker fan or a Suns fan. A Suns fan would desperately want to trade him and effectively reset this thing and give this team a future.

After watched two games.

Pluses :

A lot of hustles and offensive rebounds - we are great on offensive glass.

Dillon Brooks - yes I know he took a lot of shoots , but we don’t have now second options. Grayson is good but he is very good sidekick , replenishment starting five. He is good in offense, even with this a lot of shoots.

Assist - before this season started we played a lot of iso, now we have good ball movement. Few iso.

Natural :

Oso - I have mixed opinion on him. He can play on center but on the other hand he doesn’t have size on center. He would will good stretch five but he is very inconsistent in shoots.

Negative:

We don’t have half of point guard. Colin is very bad ball handler , a lots of turnovers especially if he is on the pressure.

D - Book. I don’t know but I expected games by 30+ points and MVP season, maybe we must waiting for this more games.

Why we don’t playing our #11 draft picks? We aren’t PO teams so we should have playing him a lot of. We must trade other center and playing him.

We don’t have D. Offense is quite bite but D is horrible. Maybe we should keep patience
