I think a change of pace and team should be good for Luke. After having a down season, I think as long as the defense is around him and he gets to his spots and shoot the rock, the Hawks benefit on the floor.

I have wanted Luke for years.

3 point shooting was a big problem for us and now I feel like we solved the issue.

Only two Hawks made 100 or more three pointers last season. Big problem!

Trae Young, Zaccharie Risacher, NAW, and Luke should make over 100 next season.

Vit Krejci, Dyson Daniels, and Garrison Mathews can accomplish it. I hope Mathews plays as little as possible.

This is huge. If only Budz was here he could turn Luke into an All Star like he did with Korver.

Luke Kennard and VP JD Vance are both from the same hometown in SW Ohio. It's a semi-rural, really impoverished area.

I worked (and hooped) in that area years ago when Kennard was still in Middle School. (I never met him but did see him play.)

Even back then, he was expected to be a bball star. It's been really interesting watching him come up all these years.

I used to work in his hometown...and now he works in mine.

We brought him here and paid him to help our 3pt shooting and spacing...not to be an offensive initiator. :nonono:

If that's the case, we dropped the ball on getting one for the 2nd unit in the offseason. :banghead:

Hard to get a 3 point attempts in when Trae and NAW are throwing bricks up. OO attempting 5 against OKC. Our priorities are all off.
