?

He never played Pg at Kentucky

I will repeat myself because it didn't take (apparently).

Reed was the PG 90% of the time. Go back and watch the tape of the second platoon

For the third time. I'm confused. You watched Rob Dillingham at Kentucky and didn't think he was a point guard?

Maybe you'll get it eventually.

again, Dilly led Kentucky in assists per 100 possessions. if he was only the PG "10% of the time" that's probably an indictment on whoever was PG 90% of the time.

That’s not how I remember them playing last season but I’m happy to be proven wrong. From what I recall - Shep was the full time backup Pg

Did you (like the OP) actually watch Dillingham at all last season and somehow were convinced he doesn’t have point guard skills? I mean did you really think that? That’s wild that you needed a lineup card to tell you what position he can play. He is obviously a point guard.

He is shooting 49% from three, glad to see him find some success there but a lot of the concerns about him as a prospect are still looming. Worst Def EPM on the Twolves, as mentioned zero physicality = 0 FTA. The playmaking is a mixed bag his assists are impressive but he is also rocking a 22% TO% which is near the worst in the league.

I still think the most likely outcome for his career is sparkplug off the bench but he is filling that role for the Grizz nicely and with #8 in this weak class that could be a fine use of the pick.

Reed is horrible. The fact that this board hyped him up is testament to hyping up mediocrity

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

I mean, you think Ja and Trae were better prospects than Cooper Flagg.

They were. There’s nothing special about Flagg. Ja has lead his team to the playoffs multiple times, has averaged 27+. Trae has lead his time to the ECF defeating a prime Embiid as a massive underdog. Will Flagg ever accomplish these things? No. Glorified role player

After watching him yesterday: His athleticism or handle is not the issue. Its his complete lack of basketball IQ and tunnel vision that rivals that of Corey Maggette in his worst years. You can't be shooting 0 for 10 or whatever and then ignore KD and Sengün while dribbling into nowhere every play.
His only future in the NBA is as a purely off ball shooter, that comes off screens, shoots and nothing else. For this role his athleticism and handle is just fine. But even then he must be elite at that to warrant playing him on defense, cause he is even worse on defense than he is on offense

Sheppard has a whole lot of Jimmer in him.

This is not a good thing.
