You still need a guard to get guys involved regularly, Durant gets ignored a bit too much, it is definitely noticeable that they do not have guard playmaker, Sengun can't do it all, and Amen is not a guy who does that either.

If Holiday is having a good season and Scoot can be back around December, I would consider something built around Holiday for FVV and Reed.

No need to make a panic move.
They lost a game they should have won by one point in double overtime on the road.
Durant missed a free throw & the officials decided to reach their SGA free throw quota at the end of the game to help OKC catch up.
Amen went out with injury in the fourth, as well.
Sheppard didn’t play well, but the refs don’t let every team get away with what they let OKC get away with on defense.

Nah. As Udoka said yesterday, we'll go by committee while Reed/Amen catch up on the fly. In 10-20 games it won't be an issue anymore and we're still going to crush in the meantime.

First game looked clunky because there's no chemistry yet. Obviously they're going to eventually replace Adams with a shooter which makes life much easier on whoever is running the part time PG position.

Give the f***er 10-15 games to figure it out, he'll be fine. Don't overreact on one game.

OKC would be so foolish to move him. Excellent roster fit and super cheap for 3 years (Which is very needed with the upcoming OKC money crunch).

I think Cason is more likely to be moved as he is only cheap for 2 more years and should get some juicy offers.

Seems like CJ McCollum for FVV + asset would be a good fit. CJ is an absolute pro and great culture guy on an expiring contract and a career 45/40/80 shooter. Rockets also save 25M next year to give them flexibility.

Houston should be good enough to be a solid playoff position up until Jan 8th. No reason to be desperate today. Wait it out and then see what the buyout/trade market allows.

If they trade for a Point Guard and give away assets, make sure its for a Point Guard who isn't injury-prone.

I agree, but he would be a perfect fit for the Rockets. One of the best young drivers in the league, extremely cheap contract, decent 3pt%, high effort on defense, does a good job setting up his teammates. If I'm the Rockets, I'd at least make an offer.

I dont care if it works or not..this is the funnest experiment a nba team has gone for in recent years.

Dual bigs, with a 6'11 shooting guard and 6'7 point guard that cant shoot.

Is CJ a good fit on any team is the question? Houston is trying to win.

CJ seems to think he is a leader. For example, when he became a Pelican, he thought he was going to change them for the better. He is overrated and forver overpaid.

The Rockets also don't have 17/18 shot attrmpts for CJ.

Capela is like a bad penny for Houston if they trade him he's just gonna come right back anyway

11 for 39 from three.

Houston needs is to make their 3 point attempts at a higher rate than 28% and it will solve many of the things you witnessed, OP

And I only see that happening if the Pacers give up on this season without Haliburton.

Another option could be Derrick White, if Boston gets off to a bad start with injuries and gives up on the season

White would make things very interesting in Houston

White makes them favourites, in my opinion. But he'll cost a pretty penny.

White-Amen-Durant-Smith-Sengun w/ Adams, Capela, Eason off the bench is nasty.
