Good morning all!

I know I'm in the minority here, but this team should 100% soft tank this season. They have ZERO shot at the finals, whether or not Tatum comes back. This is a weak roster that only has a shot at the playoffs because the East is so bad.

Best thing they can do this season is tank. Try to get one of Dybantsa/Boozer/Peterson. Do I expect that? No. Do I hope they are a lottery team and don't waste our time this year? Yes.

Anyway the NBA on NBC was phenomenal last night. Love that.

Go C's. I know I sound bah humbug about this year, but tbh, I am bah humbug.

To another season boys! Let's do this thing.

I hope Joe focuses on developing Queta, Hugo, Walsh, Minott.
Call it what you want. Soft tank, development year, gap year. The team will try to win games of course but J hope these guys get some legit PT.

Boucher, Hauser, Pritchard, Simons, Garza, Tillman, Scheierman.
I expect the first 4 there to play a fair amount.
I am saying I want to see Minott, Walsh, Hugo, Queta getting significant time, not just garbage minutes.

They won't fully tank but by default they have to play other guys. They don't have enough good players to not use depth to win games. I'm pretty sure they are going to attempt to play D and more or less run and gun to try to wear teams out and see where it takes them. There are going to be some serious rebounding beat downs some games though .

Can't wait, this almost feels like the good (really, bad) old days before we broke the title drought.

How are we going to go? Who knows.
Are the young guys up for it? Who knows.
Are we going to be playing to win or driving a tank? Who knows.

Loved the winning but we'd all probably got spoiled and coasted in the regular season. This regular season will be much more interesting, even if there are more Ls...so not necessarily better, just interesting.
