I still think Pat would have worked for this team. I'd definitely rather have him than Coffey, for example. Had to do it to execute on higher priorities, though.

We needed to clear his salary, the trade was a good idea.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Pat is the best. I hope he gets some real run for that Hornets team at some point during the year.

Reed Shepard looked bad after looking so good in that preseason game. I don't think Houston is a good team for him. He needs a team where he can get some clock as the guy. PHX? Brooklyn? Or maybe he is an AAAA player. Not sure. I'd still take him, though. Shepard for Kuzma makes sense (to me).

Obviously things change, but his minutes against us last year were some of the worst minutes I saw the entire season.

He didn’t seem scared last night and kept chucking, so I honestly could see how he’d get on a heater in the G league or in the preseason, but he’s just bad in real minutes.

Did I read somewhere that there's not even gonna be that much Inside the NBA this season?

He reminds me of Jimmer in the NBA tbh. Looks too small out there and isn't a good enough athlete to compete at NBA level.

Thought he looked out of place during the game last night, just overmatched.

Sheppard is everything that the skeptics (raises hand) thought he would be so far. An extremely under-sized SG that can't really force the action with his dribble or play-make for others. Still wild to me that people just took the college efficiency stuff at face value. I get that the draft was weak but Castle going immediately after already looks like a massive blunder.

Tim Legler on the ESPN and ABC broadcasts should be really good. Big improvement there.

Mobley is looking super aggressive offensively. Love to see that from him.

Going to watch some of the Sixers and Celtics before the Bucks game. Going to be fun watching them both try to out suck each other.

Can't stand either team.

Embiid through 5 minutes looks...not great. I'm hoping it's just a slow first game because him being physically cooked and straight up done as an elite guy would be really sad, even if I generally don't like him

On a positive note for Philly, Edgecombe might be a future superstar lol

Looks fantastic as a 20 year old in Boston, not just as a scorer too. That's the kind of asset that saves a GM his job

Clips getting blown out in Utah. Kawhi at a -34 right now with 4 points. Plant some more trees young man!

I've always thought Zion could put it together, despite all the evidence to the contrary. I'm finally off the train -- even at a much lower weight he's incandescently lazy and uninvolved without the ball in his hands.

He’s Embiid without the MVP caliber seasons.
