it looks like mike brown will play who's playing well and sit who's not. for that alone he's earned some more of my trust. i loved that thibs invested in defined roles, but didn't like that guys were left languishing on the floor when they were hurting us

Og with 24 and 14

That trade will never truly get the love it rightfully deserves. Love everything about his game even his middle linebacker handles.

And they tried to tell us it's impossible to win a game without the starters playing 48 mpg. :nonono:

Thank you Coach Brown for playing the bench and freeing Kolek from jail!

Great first game. LIke someone said, didn't feel threatened.

If you're going to play motion offense then Kolek would need to get PT.

Damn...this thread would have been legit 50 pages long if we lost.

I'm really grateful we won.

To think Brunson isn't even going yet

Hart didn't even play

Mitch either

Still looks like some chemistry can be built and some rough edges finished off

A win is a win
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I would have told you we lost.

As long as we don't bring back the "Firewood Son" pictures, I'm in
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

Welcome to game 1 of our 82 preseason games.

And last season we can't beat Cavs or Celts with Thibs.

And people questioning OG's rebounding ability. And with Brunson shooting poorly we still have enough firepower to win. Shout out to Kolek too, he's proving his worth for spot minutes as a backup PG. Shamet hitting his shots. McBride with a lot of confidence. And Mikal is our 2nd ball handler. And KAT always do well in tower battles. Huk and Jamison are fine too.

For Clarkson and Yabu, this takes time to jel and that's what preseason is for.

We knocked the Celtics out of the Playoffs and made the ECF's. But your right, regular season we couldnt compete with the elite teams. I expect more this season. Great Win, but a long road ahead.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Kat and Brunson were both pretty bad. Winning a game despite that is great.

Both bridges and OG are good enough to interchange as the "second option". Team game.

Brunson at least still looked good with his passes, got to his spots, but missed shots.

KAT's out there invisible, passive, not really providing offensive gravity, and of course his defense sucks.

If you're going to be bad on defense, at least be a bad ass on offense. He's just "meh" on offense.
Checked the boxscore and was honestly shocked he had 19 points. Felt like too much.

Yup even as someone who liked RJ and Quick, just gave us a way better fit in OG for this team for sure

KAT was good tonight not great. His injury def slowed him down but he came up big when the Cavs went on a run and he went at Mobley with ease for a bit.
