He plays so many positions for us and played solid defense for us tonight, but man we need to get him easier buckets on the low block/ post and that would create much easier baskets for our shooters.

Early returns weren't good for Tyus. Jase is knocking on the door.

I wouldn't want to play the Heat in the first round of the playoffs.

This should make a lot of us happy: Post game press conference Paolo and Bane both talking about recognizing how much they are liking their two man pick and roll game and want to continue doing more of it. Bane saying he’s never been in a position playing PnR with a player feared equally or more than him.

Enjoy it, everyone. We are back.

That was a fantastic way to come back after some sloppy play got us behind. Back against the wall they answered the call with grit. And new guy comes in and dives for the floor for a huge rebound and foul. I really do think its going to take a while for us to get used to playing quicker and pace-ful, from a condition and mental perspective, its such a drastic change. Think those turnovers, fouling, and defensive lapses came from that but they will improve this, just will take some time. But this team is exciting, talented, and deep. They will put some big offensive numbers this year with some showtime play. Strap in, will be fun!

Excellent coaching and they play hard. Winning tonight should not be discounted, Spo always has his team ready.

What a win. I expected them to come back as well. They looked like they hadn’t played together that much yet and that’s ok, because it’s true. This team has a chance to be really special. Congrats mates.

Whole time in the 4th I kept thinking we got more talent than Miami, if we can focus on D and sustain some consistent effort we will win this game.

He hasn't really shown amazing low post skills for that. Not until he starts playing with brute strength, plus this is a very 90s centric way of offense that doesn't really work that well anymore. I'd love a quick post up if he has a mismatch when the ball is moving quickly, otherwise I just don't think he's much of a threat there.

Paolo starts the season with a 53.9 TS% performance. Not good enough if he wants to be the lead guy on a contender. His 'co-stars' did their part to give him space. No more excuses.

Rebounding and defensive effort has looked better though.

Paolo is used to a slower pace offense that caters to him. He just needs time to adjust and realize that he doesn’t have to score the hard way. So in the meantime I look forward to his defense and rebounding.
