Knicks - Cavs PG: How's that for vibes?

Welcome to game 1 of our 82 preseason games.

And last season we can't beat Cavs or Celts with Thibs.

And people questioning OG's rebounding ability. And with Brunson shooting poorly we still have enough firepower to win. Shout out to Kolek too, he's proving his worth for spot minutes as a backup PG. Shamet hitting his shots. McBride with a lot of confidence. And Mikal is our 2nd ball handler. And KAT always do well in tower battles. Huk and Jamison are fine too.

For Clarkson and Yabu, this takes time to jel and that's what preseason is for.

We knocked the Celtics out of the Playoffs and made the ECF's. But your right, regular season we couldnt compete with the elite teams. I expect more this season. Great Win, but a long road ahead.

It's obvious we were not even playing our A game from our Alpha and Beta and still won comfortably, that's a really good sign.

I think he will find his way. made some good passes. if it doesnt Klutch will get him to his preferred destination. however I feel he wants to win.

this was in reality a blowout disguised as a close game

didn't ever feel threatened all night

Love these kinda games where we can tell we are the better team. Even when we lost the lead in the 3rd it still felt like we were gonna win.

Last year it was so frustrating watching other teams getting better looks than us. Tonight it really did seem like we had a lot of clean looks.

and this was with Brunson and KAT with less then stellar games and Mobley and Spida had pretty good games. So that means our supporting cast wiped the floor with theres.

mcbride made several key 3's in this game btw, anytime cavs cut it to 1 he made a 3 to get some spacing.

He was checking Mobley a lot. I'm tempted to give it to him.

Jarrett Allen...I don't think he's really recovered from the beating Mitch gave him in the playoffs a few years ago.

It helped that the Cavs had no pg, Lonzo looked washed.

Kolek and Shamet with solid bench minutes. Not sure how much either of them will play once Hart is back but kudos to them.

Just give McBride the 6MOY right now cuz he's about to have a breakout season. Timely buckets and solid on both ends. You can tell he's got Browns complete trust. He was on the court in the final possession.

Im open to the idea that ball movement and fresh legs might have contributed to easier shots.

Ill need to see more evidence before taking a stance. But so far I'm liking it.

Good win and good contributions from everybody. Defense still has ways to go and needs to tighten up but offense looked good and came through

McBride looked EMPOWERED under Brown. Bigtime minutes and not the feeling of a guy Thibs reluctantly put out there bc of stubborn mentalities like having too small a backcourt.

Yeah he bailed us out a couple times when the momentum was going the other way . Was also team high +17
