I see Anthony Edwards is questionable with back spasms. If he is out this could be a relatively easy win. Without him their only offensive threat is Julius Randle.

I still have a hunch we're not going to see Scoot actually in games until after Christmas. Hope I'm wrong.

OT but its great to see LAL get the Ayton experience. Their fans on the reddit LAL board are already realizing how much of a horrible basketball player he is and it gives me great joy. I think Yang will post better advanced stats this year than Ayton.

It's still the first game of the season... these can be wonky.

Really should not be more than 2 months unless it was a really bad tear.

Hope you're right!

Soft tissue issues can be a bug-a-boo, and Scoot hasn't exactly shown an ability to bounce back from any injury quickly. Hamstring injuries (and this one appears to be a Grade 2) have a tendency to linger in basketball players. I also don't love the fact that it's been mums-the-word on the injury. Usually, if things are progressing well, the team would be providing positive updates here and there...

I think I read here, maybe somewhere else, that the timetable for Scoot returning to 'basketball activity' had been changed from 4-8 weeks to 4-10 weeks. Might be a significant injury

They likely will be cautious. Rushing players back was how so many teams wound up with season ending injuries last season. I’ve heard the NBA even cautioned teams about rushing players back from lower body injuries.

Hopefully this team can stay in it until he gets back

I am in Keizer and the game is on channel 802 KUNP for me. Also Ripcity tv on 302. Hope that helps.

The pace of this game is insane so far. So fun to see both teams nonstop sprinting.

Yang plays 2-3 minutes. Hangs around in the paint instead of covering anyone (is this zone?).
Min takes advantage, and makes 3 straight 3's.
Now we're playing with a "Frontline" of grant and Murray
Tisse is looking great!

2 possessions by Sharpe so far, mid range good, 3pt range no good

Nice block by DC on Gobert, good look on pass to Avdija, but a little late

I never understood why you do a coaches challenge 4 minutes into the game, now they’ve lost that ability

Nice drive by Deni for the flush

Yeah, the Blazers better play with pace because if they don’t and they get stuck in half court offense, they’re screwed

Murray with a nice drive for score, and then travels on the next possession

Edwards is so shifty

Let’s hope Sharpe doesn’t fall in love with the 3pt shot today

Bad acting by Camara there on defense

Sharpe has the green light to shoot whenever he touches the ball. Not looking great tonight, but he will go off at some point!

Going small ball again, but this time in a more reasonable way with grant Deni and tou.
