GAME #1: LAC (0-0) @ JAZZ (0-0)—WED 10/22, 6 PM

AND SO IT BEGINS...

Kris Dunn missed Clippers practice on Monday due to illness, making his status for Wednesday's opener vs. Jazz uncertain. With the arrivals of Bradley Beal and Chris Paul, Dunn's role is anticipated to be reduced despite his starting position last year.

No Isaiah Collier for the home team (whom I'm more intrigued with than the erratic shooting Keyonte George.)

Surprised to find that Kevin Love will open the year in SLC (as opposed to retirement, buyout, waivers, etc.). His expiring contract is only $4.15 mil.

**checks back on game**

smh

Just the worst. Not gonna be a good next day or two for this team. Too bad there isn't a back to back.

Clips 'N Dip podcast will be kinda fun, though :P

Too old, too rich. These old heads have nothing to play for. How do you even motivate a group like this? Somebody wake me up when/if Jordan Miller, Cam Christie, and Kobe Sanders get in the game.

Looking like a great start to the season for the oldest team in NBA history.

The Clippers are also looking like a no-show job for Kawhi.

+embarrassing. Lue doesnt get his team up for the first game of the season. They are sleep walking.

Well, either this team is a total disaster or is a work in progress.

Getting rocked by the lowly Jazz in the first quarter is not a good look either way.

Call me after game 15, no need for us to go over all the it's just one game, it's just two games, etc, etc

As always when we see a good enough sample size we can actually start to have proper discussion.

For now, terrible game, happens, on to the next.

Team full of vets, it's not on the coach to get a team like this up for the first game of the season. If they need the coach to get them up for the game, then they simply aren't going to be ready.

It would be nice with all that money Kawhi made if he actually showed up. Only game 1 so no reason to freak out yet but jeez put in some effort.

The SGA trade has set us back 20+ years. Pablo will probably have another hit piece on us tomorrow to add more pain to the misery

Just got done watching highlights of all the other games in the league tonight. Man, the Clippers looked old and slow in comparison. It's crazy how the Clippers really took themselves out of being able to draft young, talented players for so many years.

Here we go with Lue's annual red flag 15-20 game evaluation tryout period. By now we know that this means problems. Buckle up, it might be a long season.
