I guess yabusele would be the biggest disappointment. Don’t think he did anything

It helped that the Cavs had no pg, Lonzo looked washed.

I thought he looked great for a guy who some said might never play again. His shot was garbage but he was moving really well.

Lonzo is 27 but you have to look at him like he's a savy vet who is 38, because his knees are about that old.

So, he can do crafty good sh*t, but has to be on the minutes restriction. Was a good pick up for them, wished the Knicks had him.

Knees looked fine tonight...I thought he moved like a 27 year old while he was out there.

I liked the looks we were generating off of simple drive and kicks. Only a few times we looked stagnant. I like that we played different lineups and had just one guy over 35 mins and that was OG who is arguably our most important player in most games.

Most importantly I love that we weren’t just STUCK into a game plan or a rotation or a lineup. Things looked to be fluid. And when we had that kolek/deuce lineup out there and it was working, there was NO RUSH to pull them out for Brunson early in the 4th. They were allowed to go on a 12-0 run.

And when we made some swaps and clarkson came in for deuce it was just a couple plays later where I said man we should’ve kept deuce in the game and boom we have a sub swapping deuce in for clarkson.

Recognize which players have it going. Recognize which lineups are working. Roll with that. Drive and kick. Move off ball. Let’s keep building.

Tyler Kolek was +17. And you all wanted to run him out of New York...smh...

Edit: My bad. But the part about running him out of town...

11 players played an 10 of them were in double figures in minutes only Jemison was below 10 at 8 mins

and that was with 2 key rotational players out...when guys were hurt in previous years we would just shorten the rotation

MP..the cavs came back and tied the game and he stuck with Tyler. I am totally shocked.

It’s possible to feel bad about how Thibs was treated and still feel good if we win with the new guy.

Let’s invite Thibs to a real GM BBQ!

Bad take, lol. KAT doesn't suck, and he was also battling a quad injury tonight (even with that, he had a solid game). Still a great 2nd option.

and 5 out to close out the win.

OG and Mikal with strong games

thing of beauty!

Some observations:

1.Brunson was 5-18....that won't happen many nights.

2.Brunson not going to be overworked. Played a lot more off ball. Pick the iso spots. Beautiful.

3.Liberal rotations. Fantastic.

4.Bridges and OG being deployed a lot more intelligently defensively.

5.Bridges and OG playing a lot more freely

6.TEAM BALL. Did not look disjointed.

7.35 bench points tonight.

8.Defending the 3 ball ....it was not as consistently and maddeningly wide open as under Thibs.

9.McBride looked EMPOWERED under Brown. Bigtime minutes and not the feeling of a guy Thibs reluctantly put out there bc of stubborn mentalities like having too small a backcourt.

Jesus hell yeah Six!
