There's a difference between a good secondary ballhandler and a PG. With the right system you can get by with multiple good secondary ballhandlers sharing the load but you really can't run with one as a PG with very little help.

Chuck hit the nail on the head. Mavs are mismanaging Flagg, he’s not a primary initiator and has no business passing it to guys who are inferior to him.

The debate started because the Spurs were experimenting by playing Sochan at PG and Wemby at PF during his rookie season. Once he moved to C, his numbers spiked and the debate was over
