Pacer fans on X are huffing straight copium tonight. Bringing up Turner's shooting tonight but completely missing he was +9 with 8 boards, 5 assists and 3 blocks. He altered the gamed defensively and his shooting will only get better. So glad we have him.

Yup and if we don't go 4-0 there will be some hand wringing here. It's a long season. Ebb and flow. We're a good team. All will be fine in the long run.

Wins are tougher at the start of the season with everyone trying. So always good to get the first one under the belt.

Midds can still play. I think he'd be a really good 20min a game addition to a contender. Kinda like Utah Joe Johnson.

The Wizards are such an awful organization.

Khris and CJ getting so many minutes and soaking up so many shots just for them to be inevitably bought out is such a waste. Maybe they will give away Kispert like they did with Deni.

His left stroke's the death stroke.

Nothing left to do but send him home (to some other team)

(Unless this is a Magic Stick reference, and not a One More Chance reference)

T'was a Magic Stick reference, but I appreciate that even dawned on you.

The pessimist in me sees this as the 2021 start of our defending champ season Brook injury. He also got injured in the very first quarter of the season I believe. Crazy luck if he’s out awhile.

Brook already had a back injury. He was going to try to play through it but decided after one game to get the surgery. He played 28 minutes in a blowout win.

Bummer about Porter. The lineup with him was humming.

Kuzma looked good. :dontknow:

No contender is sending the salary and asset needed to make it worth it to the Wiz. He’s getting bought out. Tax teams can’t sign him. Name the list of contenders allowed to sign Midds please.

He’ll be back with the Bucks in mid-February.

Keeping Kuzma separate from GA is easily the best use of him. Other than a couple dumb minutes with GA/Kuz/TP out there together, they clearly had sane lineups where Kuz was the only bad shooter on the floor. Also playing him less minutes lets him go all out on defense so he’s actually an asset defensively with his offball help. The downside is this takes away minutes from Bobby so Bobby doesn’t get a rhythm. That’s okay for now because Bobby should get more minutes anytime GA or Turner are out.

My main adjustment would be have Anthony run the offense and put Rollins offball in the non-GA minutes when KPJ is also out. Anthony can create for himself and others. Rollins is better attacking offball because he can get to the rim off closeouts but isn’t great beating his man off the dribble currently.

Loved the uptempo offense for easy buckets. Loved Turner unlocking full switch D. Loved the spacing around GA. They even had some nice plays in the first half when GA was off the court.

Wizards could take on a multi year guy. They have no impending salary crunch.
If Middleton stays healthy till the dealine some team will trade for him you are correct

If he misses a significant amount of time between now and then hes getting bought out

Few Bucks have questioned whether hes good enough to contribute when hes on the floor. Odds of that happening consistently over a season at this point aren't high.

Im still betting on him getting bought out and returning to the Bucks

Congrats to KM for still getting THAT salary while Trent Jr. gets what he gets...

If any team trades for Khris hopefully they only watch the offensive end on video. If a team wants to give away points every possession and hope for some miracle jumpers to make up for it... he's a tank commander now, not a piece. If we ever need a commander, Bobby is already on the roster (hopefully not for long)

I hate to say this about a player, but I will in a way be happy if AJJ never turns into anything.

I don't think I could handle us trading the one player we drafted who was actually decent.

Khris played really well. I went to the Fiserv today to see the Bucks and Khris.

- Watching a younger and better version of Brook next to Giannis was so refreshing. Turner is maybe the best fit Giannis could have.

- Kuzma and Bobby didn’t bring their A game either, but they make extremely interesting our second unit. Kuzma didn’t avoid some goofy plays, but seemed to play more within his abilities and not pushing it too much. Bobby was awful, but these nights happen to anyone.

- Porter (get well soon), Green, Trent are also perfect compliments at least offensively for Giannis. KPJ is just the non ball dominant PG that you need in a Giannis team. There is a reason Giannis won a ring with Jrue and not with Dame. Green and Trent are so automatic, but they still luck size.

- Speaking about size Bucks’ only pure SF is their 10th player. Obviously Midds over Prince would be so sweet. Horst needs to work on this in the deadline. We desperately need a big wing for 20ish minutes coming from the bench now that Kuzma is (rightfully) spending more time at PF.

- I have high hopes for Rollins (more for him) and Anthony, but it’s a long way before I trust them for a deep playoff run.

When I saw the Bucks' tweet last night about having no injuries whatsoever, I was almost sure we'd have one by the end of the game...
Really hoping it was just a light roll, but we'll see.

By the way, those first 8 minutes of play, for my Bucks-starved mind, was pure ecstasy!

Great win and it has nothing to do with who the team played, despite social media's insistence that it was "just the Wizards". We saw what we needed to see. Don't rush KPJ back. We need that ankle.
