If Trump invades SF I kinda hope the Warriors refuse to play.

Dyson Daniels, Christian Braun, Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara all sign multiyear deals for $20-$25 million per year. All relatively team friendly deals. Perhaps Braun's deal is a little rich. Nothing crazy though. Meanwhile, the Dubs overpaid for one year of Kuminga's sorry butt. :nonono:

I’d take all of those players over Kuminga (although it should be mentioned Sharpe is sort of a guard version of Kuminga), but that doesn’t mean JK’s deal isn’t team friendly. Its about as team friendly as possible…. he’s an expiring contract with a team option at an amount that didn’t keep us from getting any of the free agents we were after. About as good an outcome as possible contract wise.

This take will age like milk. Not only because the contract is a great one and teams will trade for it even if JK is injured, but also because JK will outplay it, either here or elsewhere. your whole "he'll be playing in china" bit couldn't be more wrong. He may not be a star in the future, but he'll be in the league for 10+ years, when he'll still be only 33.

Totally reasonable. I disagree about all those guys being better than Jk but I see your point. Glad that the guy you are responding to is still keeping to his usual nonsensical comments.

And I should add that I still like Kuminga and think he’s worthy of a contract annually in the range he got (and all those players got). Its just that his happens to also be an expiring one with team control that is very tradeable even if he doesn’t perform well this year.

The perfect outcome is that he takes a leap and plays great. While also realizing he’s on a team with only 3 other forwards to split time with (jimmy, dray, moody… and dray will play alot of center). Maybe not a guarantee start every game, but tons of minutes and a new contract around the time Jimmy/Dray are retiring. That might be a better scenario than going and fighting over the ball with Sabonis/Demar/Lavine/Dennis/keegan/russ/clifford etc.

Anyone pay close attention to the Rockets/OKC game yesterday? I watched it while mostly distracted but neither team impressed me much. OKC didn't look great but are missing their 2nd best player so by Jan, they'll be back to their best selves. Hou doesn't have a PG and i don't think Reed or Amen are the answer. Do they trade more assets for a real point guard? If so, what salary can they use other than FVV to get someone like Jrue?

Eyeing the Portland game. Really like their kids. Giving all they got so far to Minny. I don't see Minny as good as some analysts are saying.

So lucky Klay wanted out. His contract would be so much worse here. He looks cooked.

We better win this year because we may not get another chance. Holy smokes.i watched this game and wemby just shat on the entire Dallas frontline, the largest in the league, like they were a jv team.

In related news, it's going to be really hard to play in today's NBA without a true pg. I was very low on Dallas going into the season but without a pg, they're toast.

If I was to pick a team that's not us to win the Championship this year its San Antonio. Wemby-Fox is a really good 1-2 punch. Castle and Vassell are both good on the wings. Barnes is steady. The bench has Harper the #2 pick as a backup guard. Johnson has scoring pop at forward. Sochan is kind of a dirty work guy. Kornet can contest shots. Olynk is one of the best shooting bigs in the league.
