So I am not they only one. When they made that run 2 years ago. It happened because he was injuried.

I actually liked what I saw from Quick. He looks stronger & is looking for contact more. Some of his passes these last 2 games were impressive as well.

The shooting was never a concern.

What is it about his game that people didn't like tonight?

He missed his 3 pointers, most people can’t give much analysis past that.

But 13/8 in 28 minutes while going oh-for on 3’s is a prettt good night. On average on a 7 attempt he’s gonna bury 3 of those a hell of a lot more than 0.

I missed the game, but box score watching, he hit everything he took inside the arc and had 8 assists. So, crappy night from 3 notwithstanding, that superficial level of examination suggests to me that there was a little more to him than just that. The whole team appeared to be beating the ever-loving snot out of it on O.

I thought he played good tonight, he is more like a true PG. Box won’t show how he played tonight, it is just the 3 didn’t fall tonight.

Heartbreaking that I couldn't watch live.

Great start.

Not sure we've ever seen a raps team built like this tbh. 5 legit 30+mpg starters who can all initiate offense, score, pass, and defend a bit. And then one of them is a legit #1 scoring option on top of that. Can't rightly remember a raps team that's had that before tbh.

That rim pressure was awesome.

That is what we need to do to be successful IMO.

I think everyone played well. Despite the rough shooting IQ played well. In some ways it was his most PG feeling game I can remember. Some good passing, some dribble penetration into paint touches.

Barnes and RJ were both playing their ideal roles at a high level.

Good gameplan and game management/substitutions by Darko. Literally no notes on that front.

The ball movement was excellent, it helped the Hawks didn't play any defense at all. Raps probably had 10-12 layups/dunks in the 3rd quarter alone.

Skipped the game. Watching Trae play makes me ill.

I felt like they were matching our intensity early in the game, rotated quickly in the beginning, but gassed afterwards.

We do have depth this year, so maybe we will keep seeing a 12men rotation going forward.

gonna be tough on the body to keep this pace up over the course of a regular season but they do have the depth to get it done without overexerting anyone. and I think Darko will be pretty judicious with his subs and making sure he's not overplaying anyone.

Would have been a bigger blowout with equal reffing in the first

- Scottie played his role instead of forcing jumpers like in the preseason. He looked great. Johnson put up slightly better stats but had half the impact.
- Ingram was too much of a ball stopper, didn't run or space the floor. But that mid-range is money. Hope he can find more ways to contribute.
- RJ and Gradey were fantastic all around, both their defense and rebounding looked much improved.
- IQ had a rough shooting night, but started looking much better with his drives in the second half. He needs to get better at the PnR, right now RJ is our only effective PnR ballhandler.
- Poetl and Shead were solid.
- Sandro looked great. He's also not a pylon on defense like Olynyk, he gets outmatched athletically but he'll contest shots.
- Surprised that Walter couldn't even get garbage minutes. Then again, he was not very impressive in preseason.

The Hawks looked really bad though. Porzingis looks like a bench player now, looked like a slower Sandro out there. Johnson is more of a non-shooting wing than a big man, he can't really defend the paint. Daniels provides nothing offensively. And Trae is horrendous as ever on defense. The Bucks will be a better litmus test.

Jakobe was out sick.

We played 11 guys tonight without Jakobe or boyles. Someone is gonna be the odd man out. We should’nt be playing everyone just because. One of Jakobe, dick, or ochai is gonna get the short end of the stick. Based on last seasons production ochai should stay… and between dick and Jakobe it’s gonna be who is consistently better… right now dick looks pretty good. If he can hit his 3s consistently I think he sticks.

If we’re making a run and expect to contend, I believe the depth is gonna be consolidated for more proven higher end talent.

I think we will play deep because we are gonna play aggressive and run teams off the floor. Indiana has auccess with the style last year. Even in the playoffs 9 guys playing at least 14 minutes and nobody playing more than 33. We still have overlap but its a good problem to have right now

RJ was simply incredible.

I hope we can continue this style of play and that it remains effective because that was incredibly fun to watch.

Great win especially considering the poor 3 point shooting and foul trouble. I very encouraging start.
