Does this mean his contract will be dropped from the Heat?

This investigation has been a total fustercluck. How in the hell did it take this long to actually get here?

But these sports leagues will continue to take money from gambling sites.

Help me understand how a guy who has made 135M in his career feels the need to do this.

Seriously?
you are questioning the time frame and thoroughness of a federal investigation in which they get majority convictions using such methods?

The investigation has gone on for nearly 3.5 years with misreporting on it from the get-go. In comparison, look at how the Johntay Porter case was handled.

Peace out to that absolute moron. He's been sitting on his ass contributing absolutely nothing to a crumbling team making 20M+/year, but still has to break the law to make more money. How can someone be so stupid? What a greedy piece of work.

If I were ever in a position of wealth, why squander it? Why risk everything to make a little more money?

Just an absolute masterclass in being a low IQ idiot with mental problems.

Because the FBI doesn't give a flying **** about what the NBA thinks or it's fans.

I also don't get the logic either the fact that an investigation takes a long time usually indicates that law enforcement is being through and following every lead. Hardly, fustercluck what it indicates to me is Rozier is royally ****.

You have a much higher opinion of the FBI than I do.

The FBI is led by Kash Patel, and he 100% has political points to prove. Not saying that’s what’s happening here, but Kash Patel is one of the singular most incompetent people to ever hold such a title

Probably it got delayed bc there was a transfer of leadership after the election and they sat on everything until the new regime could get acquainted with it.

Probably one of those guys who is absolute **** with money. Making $20m in straight salary you're paying over 40% of that in taxes in terms of federal (around 38-39%) and then in all the cities you play in during the year that you get taxed on for the game-check from that city. Then you toss in the agent cut and he's probably clearing under $10m in yearly money.

Then you live in Miami and having a multi-million home, expensive cars, and likely spending money crazily. He'll be declaring bankruptcy in the near future.

I don't want to wade into politics too much but realize that the people making the day to day decisions on the investigation are likely the field level FBI agents and their superiors.

Also realize that the conviction rate is over 90 when being charged by federal authorities.
