Arenas has openly said that he has gambled while in the NBA. He even specifically named Larry Hughes, Damon Jones, and gambling at LeBron house. And we know Arenas was linked to a mafia gambling ring, it woukd be damning if its the same mafia implicated in the billups, Jones, and rozier indictments.

This could be HUGE.

Some people like to do it, but I'm fine with adults doing whatever they want if it's legal where they are at.

But it seems this was illegal gambling tied to the mafia.

Stories are getting wild.

Rozier told mafia he'd leave a game early. They placed a 200k wager. Then shared the winnings with him.

Damon Jones told people to bet the bucks knowing bron wasnt going to play.

Isn't his game check more than the 'shared winnings'?

Yeah. I don't think anyone has ever called him bright. Addiction is a disease (if that's what he has).

This story is getting crazier.

So, the NBA and silver knew about the gambling ring

But decided not to inform the Heat.
They let the heat trade for him.

Then they secretly pulled Rozier from the season as punishment, but called it due to injury (windhorst).

100% they were going to sweep the kawhi scandal, now they can't.

Silver is a legendary crook, lol.

Totally understandable reaction. Wrong? yes. Misguided? Also, yes.

Very curious what this prompts the owners to do about balmer and/or silver. IF i'm mickey aaronson, i'm going buck wild on silver.

Is Atlanta really good? I looked the the roster, they have some of the most hyped players outside Trae... and he is planning to pack up. Then they got a walking wounded as their 2nd best. Then a bunch of kids not worth their current contracts.

Why the hell people think they are top 4 in the East? I rather have current Boston than them. Then Toronto seems to be a bunch of good guys that is not hyped unlike Atlanta. Hell. I take Philly with the rookie VJ.

I was curious to see Jeremiah Fears play in the NBA and he has looked as good if not better than I hoped he would.

He can get pretty much wherever he wants on the court and has looked better defensively than I thought he would at this stage.
