Clearly, Silver is too soft on players. Many knew that years ago, let alone now.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

What does 'Americanizing' the sport of basketball mean. It's literally an American sport.

This could happen in any league but only the NBA allows a problem to fester and not take action.

Remember deflate gate? That gives some idea to how the seriously the NFL takes rigging games. Yes it could happen but unlike the NBA they don't F around.

Youre talking about the clown who brought sports gambling into NBA and as one of their major sponsors. Get this absolute clown out of this sport you mean?

It has been scandal after scandal when Silver has been commissioner. When it ends? Where is the accountability on him. They just hushus about everything. This is like 3rd major one this year isnt it?

I believe that's synonym for dumbing down.

Silver has been awful for the league; people really liked him because he banned Sterling but he messed up the all star game each year, the dumb in season tournament, and more recently he said fans who can’t afford streaming services to watch NBA games can still watch free highlights, calling the NBA a “highlight sport.”

As I mentioned earlier, I don't care who cleans up the sport because I know that firing Silver accomplishes nothing significant other than making him the fall guy for something that the owners wholeheartedly supported.

Therefore, no, if the intention is to fire Silver without doing anything else of consequence and to portray it as a way to clean the sport. Sure, if you empower someone else and fire him.

I don't know if there's a proverb like this in the US, but we have a saying that goes like "Assign the frogs to drain the pond". Letting Silver deal with the mess he created is like assigning the frogs to drain the pond.

If it wasn't him, it would be another commissioner. All the owners want in on the gambling money.

Clean up? Silver started this mess in the first place.

**** Adam Silver, and **** him for not banning/suspending Balmer/Kawhi Leonard in the scandal.

Legalized betting being endorsed by the league is the single most stupid thing the league has ever done…and this is the same league that harbored a corrupt ref.

It is legal in other sports too no?

Never any NBA players busted for roids.

That is not true. Ayton was busted and was suspended.

He needs to resign. The following have been under his watch:

1) The abrupt rising of the cap - allowing for KD to sign with the Warriors in a bizarre loophole

2) The general over-softening of the league/rules.

3) Perverse and widespread load management.

4) Unaffordable ticket prices (despite the NBA admitting that fan attendance is not a major driver of league revenue - aka “The Bubble”)

5) Cozying up to Vegas

6) Cap Circumvention

7) Egregious tampering

8) Numerous race, sexual and harassment-related controversies.

Get rid of him.

The only one here I agree with is load management. Cap rising? Not sure how that is his fault. Unaffordable ticket prices? The NBA has the highest attendance in the last 2 years. That is just supply and demand.
