Eh. disagree. He's a good defender, not excellent. Excellent isn't a word I'd use for Turner.

Now you walk your statement back

Turner's impact isn't all that great. He isn't a post player. He isn't paint protector. Yes he's a stretch 5. That's his only value.

Stay consistent

I haven't. He's servicable, but he isn't the rim protector to earn that moniker. How many games I've watched where we get to the rim with Turner down low. I just don't respect his ability there and neither do other teams. He can move his feet enough to be servicable in a defensive scheme. He's a bit better than a cone and he's tall that's about it.

I mean, that just sounds like revisionist history to me. Myles Turner used to be one of the best rim protectors in the league. His defensive analytics have always been really good, he's averaging over 2 BPG throughout his career, he finished 5th in DPOY voting in 18-19 and 9th in 20-21. He has clearly been a very good rim protector throughout his career and he has been recognized as such.

Has he slowed down a bit defensively the past couple of years? Sure. He's not as quick as he used to be in his rotations and as the team's identity changed towards an offensive team, he hasn't been as consistent defensively as he used to be. But he's still a pretty good rim protector. He's just no longer an excellent one like he used to be.

Dort does this every game. He did the same thing in the opener against Kevin Durant and the Rockets.

I don’t know why he gets the Draymond treatment from the referees.

Mitchell is the ball handler off the bench OKC needed last season. Its a shame he got hurt. I'm glad to see him resume progress this season.

Bruce Brown, as a ball handler, can alleviate so much pressure for Murray and Jokic…..too bad THJ and Cam Johnson has been missing their open 3s

SGA tried to foul bait again. Glad the refs held the whistle for once

SGA tried to flop his way to the foul line instead of just laying it in to win the game like a normal basketball player. So bizarre.

Let’s see how the Nuggets can hold up during these non Jokic minutes. JVal’s first minutes

Can the Pacers afford the contract Mathurin might get this summer if he keeps playing this way?

It'd have to be really blatant to get that call in that situation

Why would OKC?

YOU HAVE NOTHING THEY NEED. PLUS Reaves wants a payday.

Dort is under contract 3 more years and is 2 years younger
