Gordon severly leveled up as a shooter so late into his career. Impressive stuff.

In the NBA I grew up watching, if you were gonna foul bait they'd at least knock you on your ass so hard you could still feel it next week.

This will be another wasted year for my beautiful curry, I’m afraid.

What’s with the constant self pity? Shai gets a ton of hate for his parade to the FT line, just like Harden did.

Pacers deserved that win... and I'm an OKC supporter as well. Too many marginal fouls called for my liking on SGA, disparity was a bit insane. Let the players play. GGs though -- It was a scrappy game and lots of opportunities were missed with the deep bench in for both sqauds. Could've really gone either way but I think the under the radar player was Ajay Mitchell showing some scoring chops when needed and it pushed a little difference in the 2nd half.

The only player that gets a pass for foul baiting is Jimmy Butler from what I've seen

Every serious player should live inside a basketball court like AG .. ever since then he's become a really good 3 point shooter.

Oh well. The defending champs getting the benefit of the doubt isn't new. I'm still proud of the way the team played through all this adversity. We really closed out the game playing a rookie second rounder out of Liberty because he was our only remaining guard, between all of our injuries and the fouling out. It is what i is.

This season is going to be full of adversity for the Pacers. We just have to push through.

You should be proud of the Pacers effort. Mathurin is going to be a problem, Siakam is Siakam, and Walker and Sheppard showed they are ready for bigger roles. The center position will be a problem, but otherwise, if they stay healthy, I think the Pacers comfortably finish top six in the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers have a lot of young, athletic guys that can create for themselves and others.

It really makes you wonder what if Gordon had these skills when he was at his athletic peak in Orlando. He probably would've been a perennial all star and the Blake Griffin clone everyone originally thought he was going to be.

For Kuminga who believes he’s worth x amount of money, he should follow Aaron Gordon’s career path. Underwhelming stint in Orlando, never gave up, and he’s one of the glue guys in the game (if not the best). Every team would kill to have a AG on their team

They have the assets to make another trade like last year and take another step forward. They are not favorites by any means against okc or denver.but that things can xhange

Gordon matured as he got older. Also, he finally got to a team with established veteran leadership and coaching. That matters, and he didn’t have that in Orlando.

Wait a second. I think that we all just witnessed history, y'all. With this last pair of FTs, OKC officially made more FTs (45) in tonight's game than buckets (43). Has that ever happened before?

We just witnessed a record that will be very hard to repeat.

I'm proud of their effort too... team doesn't give up. Wish Rick wasn't called for that BS tech in 1st half, he called TO and they didn't award it, he has a right to be upset. Guess what, that pt made a difference.

Really... refs had some issues that made me shake my head all night long. Even from the winning side, this is unacceptable as a fan of the game. They give praise to Tibbens as a Finals G7 ref but consistent crew missed calls tonight and we ain't in preseason anymore!

As usual, the West is going to be an absolute bloodbath compared to the East.
