We could make the Finals this year and you'd continue to double down on us losing.

Wanna make a bet on under 48 wins? Obviously I'm 48+.

First you claimed we wouldn't make under the Vegas line, now it's under 48 wins. I guess it climbs as we continue to win.

The Vegas line moved, that's why I changed the number. I hope GSW makes the finals. That would be awesome.

Nah you get to hold your original prediction on the Warrior board just like the rest of us. Here it is:

floppymoose wrote:GSW is at 45.5. - take the under

Which is the complete opposite of last year. I'm on a bit of a tear on GSW line, though. I've been on the right side since 2021-22.

Feel free to quote me if we all get old and injured and you're right though... I'm enjoying this win tonight!

first off, you can change my 48 above to 46 here if it makes happy. I believe both. I just quoted 48 here because that was the line i heard quoted last before the season started. When i made the earlier post it was 46. Why is this a discussion, even? Why do you care?

Next, why do you seem to be taking this personally? Are you upset i disagree with you? This is a discussion forum; it would be boring if we all agreed. Are you upset that i am predicting what i believe will happen instead of what i wish would happen?

Perfect 1st 3 days for the league, really high level stuff, only on the game front though, I hope they clean up the mess around.

The question is not what’s not a foul. It’s that a foul can be called on close to every play in the NBA, but it isn’t. For exemple, Doncic gets hand checked all the time and the refs let it go. But when it comes to SGA, they just call everything, making it impossible to defend him.

Nesmith one wasn't a foul which the video conveniently explains away as a bad angle.

But the main issue here isn't that SGA is getting FTs. The problem is that the Thunder are not called for these kind of fouls on the other endm Dort and Caruso are constantly reaching for the ball in the same way the clip showed and they just aren't called for it. That's the issue that most have, I believe.

If the Thunder have to go to double overtime in order to get each win, it's going to be a long season for them.

For sure, but they were down four rotation players: J-Dub, Caruso, Wallace and Joe. They are going to get everyone's best shot night in and night out. I will say, they are more equipped to handle that than most defending champs because Daigneault will play his entire roster if he has to. Season just started and Barnhizer (their two-way rookie) has already gotten into a game for non-garbage time minutes.

I don't disagree, just being hyperbolic. Starting the season with two double overtime games feels exhausting and I'm only watching. JDub is my favorite young player and I don't think we've seen everything from him yet; kid's got another gear in him.

Sorry I didn't word things clearly, was trying to come more from a joking around perspective about our predictions but reading back today I didn't do a good job conveying that, my bad. Sometimes typing on the internet I'm bad at that. It's obviously too early for anything to be sorted either way so on nights we look old (which may be tonight on a B2B after OT) you can send a good natured needle my way.

If they win again I'll have him as the third best player after Jordan and Kobe.

About Nuggets - GSW game, gg from Warriors. On the Nuggets side, the one I blame the most is Adelman, but since this is his first season it is forgiven. I didn't like how Malone was overplaying his starters for big minutes but he at least had an excuse of bad bench. Adelman hasn't.

Murray 40 minutes -13
Jokic 41 minutes -10
Christian Braun 39 minutes -9
Cam Johnson 31 minutes -17

at the same time
Bruce Brown 19 minutes +6
THJ 22 minutes +5
Jonas V 12 minutes +4

Jonas should play 18 minutes minimum.
