I think he might have legitimately grown.
He seemed like a prototype SF build out there (looked bulkier). That might be good for his defensive potential.

He looks legit 6'8 now. If he's 6'9 and can dunk some of his drives instead of layups that would be huge to get those And1's. Also makes his 3-pt shots more comfortable as harder to block.
