In terms of development and culture? 100%. Virtually every player who's come to the Nets since Sean Marks took over has been extremely complimentary of the way they treat their players. Even the ones who left on bad terms because of their contract situations have had nothing negative to say about the facilities, training and medical staff.

When you look at how badly / poorly the Sixers managed Simmons, Fultz and Embiid it's not just frustrating it's sad. They really ruined these players' shot at realizing their full potential and being true greats.

Embiid became an MVP
Fultz his career was over before it started.
Simmons had so much mental problems even the Nets’ incredible culture could help him stop him falling of his cliff

I don't care how bad you think the Sixers management have been, the Nets have been worse. You had 3 players that were apart of upper echelon of players still in their primes and have absolutely nothing to show for it. The nets should be more like the 76ers bro

Nets are one of the worst development organizations in the entire league lol

Are the Nets actually that bad at development or do they just never pick in the lottery.

Is it true Cooper was iced out of his debut? I heard he wouldn't get the ball back after giving it up.

"I was the all-time leader in points per game in the NBA for 2 days" is actually a pretty cool fact about yourself to carry with you the rest of your life.

No guarantee that it's only for 2 days!

Egor again looking smooth and confident from three. Going to be interesting to see what happens when teams begin to respect him from there.

On one hand it should open up more drives to the basket, on the other if there's a weakness to his game right now it's his first step and ability to cleanly beat defenders.

If Minny could somehow add a decent point guard / extra ball handler I feel like this would be a good year for them to get to the finals.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Coop solid game.

But Dallas traded Batman for Robin and Robin looks terrible.

Just give the keys to Coop and trade AD.

Hugo Gonzalez looked like a solid NBA player vs. the Knicks tonight. Scrappy on defense and he seems to have good awareness on both ends.

This rookie class potentially looks like an all timer.

Really like the look of The Tre Johnson kid for The Wiz.

Washington are going to be fun to watch this season.

I think he's hobbled and a little behind in conditioning. At least I hope for his sake because sitting behind Svi is embarrassing and coaching malpractice.

People say he is Spanish Josh Hart. Can you see it? He would be pretty solid, he just can't shoot right now, he barely played in Euroleague, but he was on Real Madrid main squad most of the time, and he had his best EL game against my favorite team. Sometimes I wonder are young players really not ready in Europe at all, or often coaches just predetermined to not trust them. I know NBA teams are often do not try to win games as much as Euros do, and they have bigger motivation to develop young players, but it is really strange seeing guys warm benches in inferior Euro competition, just to get drafted and then play a lot in the NBA. Honestly tho, often those guys end up being busts, but not always, like Avdija is good, so is Hartenstein etc etc.

I like the Hart comparison. He's probably got better defensive potential than Hart, who is really pesky and gets a ton of rebounds but isn't actually that great at man defense. They're disruptive in similar ways though. I'd be shocked if he's as good of a rebounder as Hart because... nobody is. He's like Rodman with his instincts. For now, Gonzalez is something of a 5th option so was in the corner a lot. Hard to say what he can really do on offense.

I think you're right about that. European coaches don't really play guys until they have winning habits. NBA has more of a sink or swim approach and also has the G-League now for players who need reps but aren't ready.
