Game 2 Thread: Kings (0-1) vs Jazz (1-0)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Fri Oct 24, 2025 4:56 pm

Fresh off a second half collapse in Phoenix, Kings look to bounce back in their home opener against a Utah team that steamrolled the Clippers in their opener. Keegan remains out and Nique will be joining him on the injury report, out with a hamstring injury. Isaac Jones will return to the lineup though and Domas has been upgraded to questionable.

Yep, management will do all it can to thwart the tank, including rushing back Domas..

I’ll go to the game if Domas will be playing and we are still trying to compete for the home opener, but if he isn’t playing I expect the Jazz to win given how they looked in their opener

Lavine's D has been better preseason and regular season, although thats what we were comparing it to.. needs consistency elsewhere

the turnovers and rebounding again, team just refuses to take control of this game

Good second half of that first quarter.... last night there was good energy despite being undermanned...

Dennis looked scary in the preseason save the Lakers game, been a lot more solid in the regular season so far

Doug got bailed out of some decisions there, and this season, but the teams effort hasn’t been too complainable

Zach was only half chicken head during that crunch time / baby steps… a couple plays positive and negative

Dennis has showed so far Perry hasn’t been bad so far, I’ll assume we have enough for a possible Keon extension

In spite of some boneheaded plays from Russ in the final minutes, Kings get the first beam of the year! Rebounding even with back was still super rough and the Jazz are also huge up front but we still need to be better. Defense needs to get better too but if we get both Zach and Malik on heaters in the same night, the offense will be a lot to handle for other teams.

I can watch this team treadmill though and not be too worried.. likable offensive players. Do I wish Brown were still here? What's done is done, these last two games were exhilarating bball.
