Is it me or does Giannis scrrens look better. I hate to pile on Dame but I think he was going to quickly when he ran PnR with Giannis. He worked well with Brook but his timing was off with Giannis. Giannis will never be the greatest screener but he looks good with KPJ, Cole, and Rollins.

My thought "Rivers and his best pupil are coaching him".ShootingtheJ wrote:Balls2TheWalls wrote:Matches Malone wrote:
Yeah his play in the 2 man game is exceptional. Good decision making. Not prone to turnovers. Finishes at the hoop through contact and attacks the boards. Admittedly before we signed him I thought he was a guy who was 'me first,' off the bench and was either going to shoot you into or out of a game. If Cole was this guy the whole time, then Orlando will have questions to answer about letting him leave.
The question won't be why'd they let him leave, it'll be "why didn't they get him to play at this level?". He shot 34% from 3 in his Orlando career. I'm pretty sure he's gonna blow that out of the water here. He's already shooting less of the mid range junk that he hoisted nonstop there. He can be efficient now.
The Bucks are shaping him into a real PG.

Oh yah. But it will be cool. Thankstrwi7 wrote:Perishable517 wrote:Is that the first, over air, NBC game this year.rilamann wrote:I know we have the Cavs Sunday. But I am already hyped for the Bucks and Knicks at home Tuesday on NBC.
It's going to be a great test for the Bucks but it's also going to be cool to watch an NBA on NBC broadcast in the Giannis era.

No they had the Rockets/Thunder and then whatever other game they had. Warriors/Lakers I think.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

George had an even better game tonight against Dallas. Middleton had a poor game. Barrett was better in game 1 vs. Atlanta. Something to keep an eye on though.

Re: PG Toronto: Cole Anthony!
Thoughts on the game not found in this thread:
1) I loved Anthony's game offensively, but he and other guards were getting beat defensively over and over. If Rondo is coaching them, then spend some time on guard penetration. Those lauding the guards need to watch them on defense, particularly Anthony, but also Trent.
2) I really like the Toronto coach. He's getting a lot out of not much talent. Poeltl and Mamu as your rim protectors is obscene.
3) Kuzma is playing as well as I've ever seen him, because he is not shooting from the outside and playing decent defense. That said, I'm skeptical how long this will last.
4) Those saying the Bucks don't have a lot aren't that far off. Giannis was spectacular and he makes everyone else look better than they are.

Our biggest need pre-draft last year was a young wing exactly like George behind an (old, injured) Middleton. We drafted AJ Johnson, who may be the worst player on an NBA roster last/this year right in front of George.
Our biggest need this year? A wing exactly like George.
The drafting is deplorable.

Wizards and Raptors looked really good in their non-Bucks games.

Very soft around the rim which is surprising

LMAO. How many games are the Dame hit squad going to go? Last season is over. Move on.

Top 2, not 2.
I will have to say wemby is looking scary if he can stay healthy
It's beside the point of this thread, but yeah you can credibly argue for jokic sga giannis and wemby being the best player any given night and depending on what a team needs or values. No shame in that. It's basically tier 1 and not worth fighting over.

I mean that would be 2019 so timeline would make sense at least?

Cole chucks less here. Probably a combination of having an alpha in Giannis and also Doc coaching him.
Quality win. Then again the Rangers roster sort of sucks. Onto Cleveland

It’s going to take awhile for teams to adapt to the Bucks’ new look when they play us, I think. Interesting to see how they try to counter our new look.

Mathurin too.
Also, the way Grant has come out this year is scary. Unfortunately, Horst may take the bait.

That 2019 team should have went to the finals, wouldn't blame him if he cried but what a weird ass thing to even bring up even if he did it on camera like Embiid lol
