Ky George is maybe the only thing Dawkins has done right on this squad. Still a lot to be seen, but he's the type of archetype this team should be developing.

All the other pieces are soft. This kid on the other hand is interesting.

Just watched the replay. It's happening. The Knicks are getting our pick. Which doesn't matter, because nobody drafted in the 2026 NBA draft is going to be better than Kyshawn M-Effing George!!!!

Without suggesting Flagg won't be really really good,
given how young he is, it could be a year or two
before he really hits his stride. Check out LBJs
first couple years at a very young age. The NBA is
a man's league physically and not for beginners,
even really good ones. Dues must be paid.

Wow, this team chucks. unconscious up and down the line. Whoever gets the ball first wants to shoot.

And, fortunately, i’m the Mr Magoo of the eye test. Tre looked good. He’s quick. Good man defense. And the stroke is pure. Just needs some strength.

We need to trade for some dead weights in return for picks to drive this tank because Keyshawn is blowing up right before our eyes.

Even from the beginning of last year, you could see George had rarefied basketball IQ on both ends of the floor, and that he had a lot of passion for the game.

He would make a lot of mistakes and silly fouls though, and he didn't have the bag for posting up and getting by people.

Last year he was fun; this year is electric.

This team is good enough "potentially" to forfeit the pick......and I'm fine with that.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I mean, let’s not forget how atrocious Ky was in summer league. We were all calling him Johnny Davis 2.0, myself included. The jump he has made is seriously mind boggling. What a player!

I don't ever remember him looking bad as a wizard. He was showing major flashes (though very poor efficiency) right away. This is what I posted after game six last year;

Otto Porter had no swag, no dawg. Kyshawn was pushing Draymond green, standing over someone and yapping after he had gotten pushed a few plays earlier, and shot 17 3s in one game. Porter with that attitude would have been a big time player. Kyshawn is showing signs he might become one.

At 5:35 p.m., HST, I saw something that literally made me yell at the top of my voice:

WHAT!!!

Wizards 117 - Mavericks 107

Everyone in the room was stirred. I am just now looking at the box score. Looks like Kyshawn IS an All-Star, and Sarr has All-Defensive in his future

I need to ask Kevin Broom if he has updated his evaluation of Kyshawn George.

Of course the dream scenario is to lose a nail biter
for the 8th seed, and still end up with a top 4 pick,
preferably 1-2.

Tre has got real quick hands, the kind you usually see on guards who are seeing the game faster than everyone else. I think he'll be a competent defender someday.

They're using him all wrong. He is not a PG, and even if he develops NBA PG type handles, you cant put him in that spot late in the game. That was bad coaching by DAL.

What happened with Vukcevic? After that altercation, he didn't come back, did he?

gratuitous critique of Flagg (by me), if his handle was that good, Duke might have won a Chip on the last shot
in the semi final and gotten to the Final game.

The vets are going to get their minutes. If we were willing to give plenty of minutes to Kuzma and Poole we aren't going to bench CJ and Khris.

Jason Kidd is experimenting with Flagg at PG.

It's going to be interesting if that continues to slow down Dallas as it did against San Antonio.
I haven't seen the game, but these early comments seem interesting.

Kidd is off to a horrible start this season, not what's expected for the Mavs and Flagg.

Forget
the
tank.

Just play each game to win each game. Sarr is getting better. Riley might be better than Tre. Tre averages 16.5, and we're complaining. He's a 25 per game player. Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly defend.

Just play the team we have.

Sports Center showed nothing but Cooper Flagg. About 5 or 6 highlights. They only showed Kyshawn beat the buzzer with one shot and showed a clincher from the corner.

No other highlights. No mention of Tre Johnson or Alex Sarr, who by the box score were certainly impactful.

I can see Will Riley being at PG with Tre at SG and Kyshawn at SF.

Best part is that Kyshawn and Tre compliment each other. Kyshawn can break the defense down methodically off the dribble while Tre is the quick strike sniper.

Riley won't need an offseason. He's a baller now.
