Knicks with a flurry of moves before training camp this month. Signed Brogdon, Shamet, and Garrison Matthews.

With Garland and Strus out to start the season plus Ball not playing back to backs, some veteran back court depth woulda been nice for the Cavs.

I wouldn't be surprised if we're waiting on a specific contingency at this point. Whether that's Golden State resolving Kuminga, or Beasley, or Utah waiting to decide to buy out Love, or if we're planning to have Tomlin and others compete at camp, or if we're going to sign and release TT a few times over the course of the season to pay as little in tax as we can.

He might be worth a further look, if I remember right it came out he'd been playing with an injury since college and finally had it addressed. For a supposed superstar in the making, he didn't move like it, and the injury could theoretically had been the reason.

How much it may help is tbd ... but even LeBron looked like a shell of himself at times when he couldn't move like he wanted to because of an injury.

Time will tell but a camp invite is a low investment, he will spend his season in Delaware with the Blue Coats. Which a 3rd season in the G League isn't the worst thing in the world for him.

Orlando and Atlanta with only 1 win each? That wasn't expected. Anyone paying attention to what's going on?

I been creeping in the Magic forum. Apparently they're trying to play faster and the style does not fit any of their best players.

They also still can't shoot, i saw that in the box scores of their 3 straight losses.

But since they're all gassed, they have lost their defensive identity too.

I'd say ol' Mose doesn't see the end of the season as their HC.

So i watched them both play last night on NBC.

Hawks look dangerous without Trae, very long and switchable.

As far as the Magic they still badly need a point guard. They're trying to make Bane that but he's not. Banchero looks like he doesn't even believe his 3s will go in when he shoots them. Mose probably needs fired, their offense and defense are just plain bad.

Okoro's +/- and on/off numbers have been abysmal for the Bulls through 15 games. The exact opposite of when he was here.

Lonzo's +/- has also taken a hit, but he's been + in 4 of the last 5 so hopefully trending up.

Isaac suffered a lower back injury the other day, so his attempt to acclimate with the Bulls may have taken another set back (he also had the pre-season knee injury).

Admittedly Isaac filled a very niche need for us and as-is didn't consistently bring 3pt shooting and perimeter D, but he did take some of the load off of DG or Don so they could bring it on offense. Kenny wants them holding their own on D this season, but that doesn't come free.

Okoro would fit great in Detroit, imo.

See, I think he'd be awful with the Pistons, but would be solid on a team like the Hornets.

I kinda view him and Javonte Green as having similar roles and Green is thriving up there, i think Okoro could easily slide right in.
