Not interested in Mathurin. I remember him talking smack about Lebron when he was a rookie. He thinks he's something special but he really isn't.
For his career his BPM is -3.3.

Even so, really glad he's healthy and able to play.

Mathurin won't get the MJ whistle as a member of the Wizards. Without that he's just a more honed version of Whitmore

They were better at both ends with Fred Van Vleet. The Rockets won't be as good this season. They will miss FVV more than KD will boost them.closg00 wrote:tontoz wrote:Last season Houston was better on defense with Reed on the floor. Way worse on offense though. Reed only played in 52 games last season. Dunno how-much better the D was with him in the lineup, but it’s probably attributable to other players who were subbed-in.

He followed that with 4-6 3FG, 26 points (11-18 FG), 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.closg00 wrote:nate33 wrote:I'm watching a little of the Portland/Minnesota game. Portland has a lineup on the floor of Jrue, Thybulle, Camara, Deni and Clingan. Just an absolutely nasty defensive lineup! Minnesota couldn't even get shots up. Unfortunately, nobody on Portland could hit a shot either, lol.
Deni was 0-6 from 3, ouch.
Deni had 20 points in the first half.
Tiago Splitter won his first game as interim coach. 139 - 119 over Golden State.
I predict this is the last season for Steve Kerr.

Queen shot 6/11 FG. He had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. DQ fouled out in 34 minutes. He finished +5.
He was not destroyed by Wemby.
Queen plays as if he thoroughly understands post moves and Mikan drills.

Queen played 34 minutes and was ÷5.

Well, that's because he guarded Luke Kornet all night. DQ was very good on offense and provided his usual broom stick rim protection. Z vs Wemby was a lot of fun on both sides.

They just started the 4th quarter in Indiana's second game. So far, Mathurin has played 28 minutes. He has 26 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and only 1 turnover on a .812 TS%

I don't understand what is happening in Orlando. It seems like no matter what they do with the roster, they can never field a team that can make three-pointers. They just lost at home to Chicago. They made just 3 three-pointers all night, going 3/24.
When was the last time an NBA team made just 3 three-pointers in a game?

His second NBA game. Virtually no training camp due to an injury. Not in game shape. Defending Wemby.spaceman_E wrote:Chocolate City Jordanaire wrote:He hardly came back in a body bag.spaceman_E wrote:Queen vs Wemby with every other Pelican big injured...

Again, he didn't defend Wemby and he's never been in game shape. They should use his play making more tbh

I watched some of that game. The Pels played a lot of zone to clog the paint and it seemed to work. They were playing way off Castle and letting him shoot which ended up burning them when he hit one late in the 4th.
Curious to see if other teams start playing more zone against the Spurs.

GD the nets suck. Their GM should get prison time for what he did in draft night.

Yeah he's always been a low assist guy but who can he pass to?
