Game 7: Packers at Steelers - 10/26/25 - 7:20 - NBC

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Oct 25, 2025 12:34 pm

The weather will be upper 40's with little wind.

Watson expected back. He likely won't play much but they'll likely try to get him the ball a couple of times to get that first contact out of the way. I'll take the over 17.5 yards.

Rodgers was sacked 7 times the first 2 weeks but only twice in the last 4 games. None the past 2 games although he threw 2 picks last week in the loss to the Bengals. He has 14 TDs and 5 picks. He's thrown for 1,270 yards.

Love has been sacked 10 times, at least once every game except the opener against Detroit. He's thrown for 1,438 yards on 4 more attempts than Rodgers.

Rodgers has a rating of 105.0, Love 108.1.

Officials:

R: Shawn Hochuli
U: Terry Killens
DJ: Patrick Holt
LJ: Tim Podraza
FJ: Jason Ledet
SJ: Jim Quirk
BJ: Jimmy Russell
RO: Jamie Nicholson
RA: Adam Choate

Need to win the turnover battle in this one. A pick or two on Rodgers would be nice. Wyatt back would be a huge help for the pass rush.

They ran a lot of quick stuff in their win against Minny. I expect them to do it again, as Cincy had success against us with it.

Ben Sims released. Two kickers for another week.

Dallas did some of that too against the Packers, IIRC.

Even if Watson just gets a lot of aerobic sprints down the field, that should help open things up elsewhere for Doubs, Kraft, and hopefully Golden

Pitt is a blitz heavy team. When they don't blitz they are a bottom 3 defense. Packers are a top 5 offense against the blitz. Bring it on Pitt.

I thought Love did poorly vs blitz?

Maybe it was a specific game, but I thought I saw a stat showing him struggle vs blitz.

Jordan Love is PFFs 2nd highest graded QB when passing against a blitz, he only trails Justin Herbert

I foresee MLF trying to run it a lot, similar to that Seattle game last year. Their rush defense is bad and even the bengals, who haven’t done anything on the ground all year actually got it going last week in their win.

Steelers field looks thrashed in this video... hopefully we don't get any bad injuries tonight.

Those jerseys are horrendous. We have to beat them to pulp for that reason alone
