Sets up a potential Scherzer game 7 start, so they trust him more than Bieber now?

What are we doing?

Blue Jays management again dictating “the plan” for Bichette. There will be no real time evaluation. There will be no wavering. Process > Outcome.

Late game Bo likely requires 2 substitutions. Bo for the pinch hit. And then Schneider to play the field. Not a big deal maybe. Seems like they would lead towards using France for another pinch bit opportunity instead of Schneider anyway, right or wrong.

But better to have Bo’s bat in there all game, and sub him out for defence if we have the lead.

I don’t mind the idea of giving him 2 days rest in a row. I do mind the predetermination. There was no room to listen to Bo or to modify the plan based on the situation at hand.

As for Scherzer pitching 2 games?! He’s cooked. The Seattle game was a miracle. And he was nearly knocked out in the first 2 innings. And he had plenty of rest. He’s an old man. For him to pitch on regular rest and get game 7 is nuts. What happens when he screws up in game 3? What’s the alternative for game 7 now? You have burned everybody.

He’s an elite ground ball guy but allows contact and the Jays can get better contact on balls that most can.

5th highest K rate in baseball this year for a qualified SP, that’s not too much contact.

Jays will make him work. Remember God is in control. The Jays are God's chosen ones to win the World Series this year (just like Kansas City was in 2015).

Jays will make contact, and if God feels like it those soft contact hits by guys like IKF and Gimenez, will find their holes in the infield and become base hits. God can humble any elite, tough, supposedly lights out Pitcher according to his will. Just remain humble and believe in God. No need to be scared by supposed elite pitchers like Yamamoto.

GOD SAYS
"Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it."

Very powerful words. If God wants a short series, Yamamoto and the Dodgers will feel the wrath of God. If God finds that we Toronto fans have now become too arrogant in our victories and too obnoxious also, God in turn will humble us also.

Let's all remain humble, and let God guide the Jays to a World Series win. Remember to pray and go to your place of worship tomorrow, and thank the man upstairs for the joy the Jays have provided us this year due to his will.

Anyone able to PM me a link to a stream? Every single link I've tried tonight isn't working or is so incredibly laggy that I'd be an inning behind by the time the 3rd inning starts.

Nice touch to have Joe wear the HR jacket.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
