Two different identities from your best players. Not sure how this is going to play out.

Paolo just seems to be pouting. It's been that way since training camp. He doesn't seem happy for some reason and his play sticks out like a sore thumb. He just doesn't seem to fit with what we are doing. Something is up.

Paolo turned his ankle last night.

He likes running. Ran fine the first game and in preseason.

I don't care if he likes running, he's not even trying to get accumulated to what the team is trying to do.

Hes on a one year deal with Anthony Black as a replacement when Suggs isn’t back to playing real minutes.

Your gripe should really be with Mosely flat out not testing Jace while Suggs sits healthy on the bench.

This is reading like last year when people were saying Mose isn't playing Jett as if he was savior lol. He played and then we lost like 2-3 games in a row versus tanking teams.

Jase should play just because he's an infusion of energy, but the real issue is these guys HAVE to hit open shots and get used to the pace. Most are but all of the Duke players seemingly look lost as soon as the season started. At least WCJ looked good in preseason.

If we're depending on Jase/Penda to save us in game 3...

Yeah I mean I get it, but Tyus isn’t a long term option here. Jase is here for 4 seasons and Anthony Black isn’t a point guard.

So the difference here isn’t really about “saving us” it’s just logical investment. Like id rather know more about Jase before AB talks come up.

Tyus is just filling in for one season and people cannot shut the **** up about him like he’s recently signed a 4 year max or something.
A traditional PG doesn't look good on this team.

Mose got no answers on Paolo either. Was flat out asked last night postgame and he literally had nothing. Terrible, inexcusable.

I heard what you said about his ankle, he can still use his gravity to put the offense in advantageous positions. Instead he takes 20ft fadeaways. He needs to adjust.

You are not wrong... but I can't keep posting his putrid TS% throughout the game

We all wanted Tyus. He’s playing how we all expected except his 3s are rolling out. Once one goes he’ll be fine.

Not sure about that stuff but I do think him bulking up to his size now makes him a bit easier to guard. He couldn't even get around Huerter and looked similar before the ankle turn.

If that's the case, I want him to embrace the physicality a bit more.

Not just Mose, almost everybody on this board too. Lol
I think the whole basketball world thought the Magic needed a player like Tyus. I'm thinking now we just need a high volume 3-pt shooter to open things up. Tyus doesn't offer any offense, so it just looks congested when he's on the court with Paolo and Franz.

Fans (myself included) overreact game to game, but the legitimately frustrating thing is the offense doesn't really seem to be flowing any better, they're just getting a shot up sooner in the clock. Like Tyus has been bad, but he barely even has a chance to do the stuff he's good at. Just play Jase for a better off ball threat if it is going to be like that though.

I agree. And i believe it's because of Mose's offensive system.

I just want it on the record that I wanted Andrew Nembhard.
