I know it was said that we shouldn’t call anyone out this early (publically) but the quicker it is called out (privately) and fix, the better the team will be. What you don’t want is to be 30 games in and then we’re trying to make it better. That’s not a good sign.

But truth is, it’s only 3 games in and they have to learn each other. I think we just expected them to click right away and run through the first 3 games. Coach did say that they have to learn to handle expectations, and one of them is expecting a better offense.

Which is exactly what i've been complaining about since he said it again during training camp. The team has no rhythm offensively because they keep having to figure out the offense each time instead of running plays that they practice until it becomes second nature. It makes me SICK!

You could ask this for 12 seasons to be honest.

1-2.
0-2 when the FanDuel Sports Network starting lineup graphic is correct.
First time in franchise history we begin the season with 3 straight home games in Orlando and we squander the chance.
Curse of Paul Porter is real. New PA guy has no clue what fan engagement means.
Now we hit the road for 5 straight. Got to gel fast.

Paolo is now at 45.2 TS% through 3 games. Believe it or not, he was so putrid the first two games that this game gave him a slight bump up! :o

You can't make that up...

This team should not shoot 3/24 3PT. Its just inexcusable that a team with this much talent still looks like they cant run an offensive set. This is a coaching problem. This team has too much talent to look so lackluster. This is mosley last year here. We need to go get Mike Malone while he is still unemployed.

Only one of three things can be true about the team after a loss like this.

1) Mosley isn’t the coach. Hes incapable of taking this group to the next level.

2) Paolo Banchero is a fraud.

3) Suggs is the key to everything.

Pick one.

You realize that takes time though right? Don’t expect cohesion right now - the problem now is that these guys are good enough to win on talent alone but look like arse.

This is all well and good but the reality is every team is pretty much in the exact same situation of having new players, coaching staff, plays, etc. It’s not like we are the only team.

It clearly is a coaching problem. Plus guys given roles they are not suited for. Why is Paolo consistently getting the ball behind the 3 point line instead of in the post on the elbow? why is AB WHO IS NOT A POINT GUARD constantly being asked to facilitate the offense while non shooters go stand in a corner. I'm just sick of it. SICK OF IT!

To be fair, some of those teams are struggling as well.

Mavs 1-2
Rockets 0-2
Hawks about to be 1-2

I’ll go with 4) You are overreacting 3 games into the season.

Paolo is a drag, he needs tighten up or go back to Seattle already.

Return to Orlando Magic
