Bane
Tyus
Franz

IDK pick anyone for the 3rd. Something about Bane's stupid turnovers and poorly timed help defense really rubbed me the wrong way.

Paolo, dunce by default until he adjusts. He's at the top of the food chain, player wise.

Everybody... team is tired, lacking in chemistry and not in synch at all right now.

Hopefully they can play their way into better conditioning at the end of this upcoming roadtrip.

This was a bad overall game from everyone. No one really showed up today.

It was so bad that I'm not sure who my top 3 are... I kinda want to go with Weltman. Let's take a step back from these 3 games and look back to even last year. That WCJ extension looks terrible. The JI extension looks terrible. The 2023 draft looks terrible with two shaky lotto picks, then mortgaging the future for Bane and this core. That all said, I gotta be patient and hold off on that for at least a month or so.

I'll say Paolo #1 because he's supposed to be the leader. Mosley #2 because the offense looks no better with an 'upgraded' roster. And Tyus #3 for not looking like an NBA player anymore. Other deserve a lot of blame but I'll go with those 3.

Only player to do after game presser is AB?

Never mind. Paolo also had one. I’m not sure what to make of it.

And, on the same night, Cole had 23pts, 7asts, 1TO 2stl 4reb in 27 min. Woulda rather kept Cole, gonna provem all wrong, at lesser salary.

Don't really know who to give it to as it was a bad, sloppy game (in their defense a b2b early in the season) with horrid shooting.

And-1

Coach Mosley has criticized this teas conditioning A LOT. And now we see that playing out.

Not voting here as these are two problems caused by the solution: the Magic is running a lot more.

My problem with the current offense is that, as the Magic runs all these fast breaks, they are "forgetting" how to run normal half-court sets.
Agreed that the road trip will build the core cohesion teams need. It used to be that the 8-game pre-season did that; ahead of: simpler times.

If after two weeks we do not see more PnRs with all the fast-breaks, I will start blaming coaching. The failed three-ball is fatigue. So, for now, I can live with that.

Best players and coach.
There is also one more thing which is maybe the most scary. For years we have been delusional of players. I thought its by design to keep high picks and chemistry up until the right moment. Now i am starting to have some doubts.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Can missed shots be an option? I can’t narrow it down to one person. Everyone missed threes, and layups. The fast pace may have been their undoing in a back to back. The only bright spots were Aggressive AB making an appearance and the little we saw of Jase.

Despite the rough last two games. Those games were actually winable if A) Make free throws and B). Shoot league % 3Pt. Paolos play and effort is still poor but Tyus has been borderline unplayable.

So, the Magic is currently dead last in 3pt%.
Sad how much things stay the same.

He’s not going to catch a ton of flack, but I thought Goga was low key horrible despite his rebound totals.

The +/- caught my eye, but I don't even remember his defense standing out as terrible, though I could have missed it. Neither of our centers are skilled offensively, but I am having a hard time giving them too much flak for their offensive performance based on how the ball is moving around. It's either put back or nothing right now.
