I like Flagg being forced to handle the ball, I feel like his driving game looks miles better than a year ago. They will lose this year regardless, might as well accelerate Flaggs development. Davis is a bum

Edgecombe looks like a young Butler.

Kneupple is just a winning basketball player, always doing the little high IQ things

Cedric Coward's shooting out of his mind! 70/72/91 while averaging 19 through 3 games

Is it too early to call some of the GMs cowards for not drafting Coward?

Seriously though. This feels like a strong rookie class.

% Will come down but Coward looks pretty legit.
Also looks like. Lisalo is implementing a european type of rotation with a bunch of guys in the 18-25 mpg range.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

I picked him up in fantasy before that game. I looked at everything, and I was like, what's the downside of this player? He is big, long, strong, good defender, athletic, can handle the ball and shoot. Why has he fallen so low? I hope he starts, ROY contender for sure.

So I saw the stats and he is shooting 71% so far in 3 games that's from 2 and 3s on 8 shots per game.

And in my opinion that's is Not a fluke or a lucky hot streak every shot he takes is a high IQ shot.

I expect Coward to be in the ROY race all season long.

Obviously it'll come way down but Coward already had truly outrageous efficiency across the board in college. Yes, it was college and not even a good conference. But players don't just shoot 72% on 2s, 39% on 3s and 83% on FTs (leading to a 70% TS) over three seasons on solid volume. He's truly an efficiency monster and I hope he can keep that up in the NBA (of course I'm not even hoping for that kind of insane efficiency but 63-65% TS on 3rd option scoring volume would already be incredible in the long run).

Some people are SUPER high on him. I wanted to pick him in fantasy in last round, but someone took him right under my nose.

I can’t remember the guys name but he had a huge article making a point that CC should’ve went first or second. I never got that high but I am glad we traded up for him. Very long, big hands, has improved every year and has the look of a legit player

Do you listen to Missmatch? I assume most do not, because both Vernon and Jakoby are not very good podcasters, but maybe you do since Vernon is Memphis Grizzlies media person, but they had a story before draft, how Vernon was recognized in Target by some guy and he just wanted to talk hoops and he said Vernon that Coward will be best player in the draft. Later on Memphis actually trade-drafted Coward and Vernon and Jakoby joked that it is some kind of destiny and they should get ''Target guy'' on podcast. I believe Vernon actually found target guy and he appeared on Vernons Memphis radio show, and he was nutjob apparently, claimed how Vernon misquote him and he did not say Coward will be best player from this draft, he apparently said COward will be Michael Jordan

Beside that, lots of people were very high on him. I beleive the downside with him was that he got injured and played very little college games last year, and he was in weak conference or smth (I do not know anything about college). But if I not mistaken, he was the guy who was complete unknown few years back and just kept climbing up from lower divisions right into NBA draft elite, and if we just look at progress curves of these prospects, Coward has the most promising one by far, it just goes up at insane rate.

we should be more like the nets

In terms of development and culture? 100%. Virtually every player who's come to the Nets since Sean Marks took over has been extremely complimentary of the way they treat their players. Even the ones who left on bad terms because of their contract situations have had nothing negative to say about the facilities, training and medical staff.

When you look at how badly / poorly the Sixers managed Simmons, Fultz and Embiid it's not just frustrating it's sad. They really ruined these players' shot at realizing their full potential and being true greats.

I don't care how bad you think the Sixers management have been, the Nets have been worse. You had 3 players that were apart of upper echelon of players still in their primes and have absolutely nothing to show for it. The nets should be more like the 76ers bro
I don't think Sixers fans should be talking after last year's disaster season.

In any case, Egor Demin looks like a great pick so far.

After listening to that, I know who Target guy is. He hangs around the other Grizzlies message board from time to time.

Harper looks like he's going to be a two way player, he can really move his feet on defense.
