We have had some of the worst offense in the NBA during is tenure, with our calling card being defense, and now that isn't even great.

How many years are we going to let this go on? Yea I get it, no shooters, no guards (oh wait cant say that) no this, no that.

Yesterday was one of the worst offensive performances I have seen in 25 years of basketball.

It's time to move on people. The guy is going to kill the dream.

I hope he proves me wrong, but I have been saying it for 3 years, and he just keeps making the case.

I think a bigger problem is Paolo playing poorly. Your offense is not going look good if your highest usage player is shooting sub .400.

Paolo must be exhausted. He's 2-12 from 3, and he passed up on several last night to shoot contested mid-range shots. I blame Paolo some for not being ready for the season. I didn't see Paolo in Orlando working out all summer, and Bane even talked about flying out to Seattle and talking with him.

We have several of the 3 games in 4 nights coming up, starting tomorrow.

There are ton of video of Paolo working out, he is just not doing so in Orlando. Paolo is just in a slump, and he just needs to get it together. His defense has been good his offense just needs to catch up.

I honestly can't believe that people are willing to say we are cursed rather than stating the obvious. MOSE'S OFFENSIVE PHILOSOPHY IS ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. It is ruining the flow of the players. There is too much thinking. Nothing is set and consistent.

Paolo would need to accept being third/fourth option most of the time, screen for others and limit his iso play to late clock situations. Can he do it ? Thats not all nba player he believes he is.

I love Paolo but what does Paolo missing shots have to do with Mose? Paolo is missing everything, point blank layups and open 3 threes, not just his inefficient middies that people love to complain so much about. There is a literally a map Soul shared showing how cold Paolo has been from the field. To start the 3rd QT, against the Bulls, he missed some really easy shots. What does that have to do with Mose? Bane, in the most recent lose, went 1 for 8 from 3 and many were open, what does that have to do with Mose? These guys just have to make shots.

Franz was out playing with Non-Magic players (with the exception of TDS) all summer long in Europe and he looks fine. Same with Gogo and TDS. Suggs has not played 5 and 5 until recently and doesn't seem to have lost a beat. We need to stop making excuses here. Paolo just needs to play better.

I love Paolo and I am pretty sure he will be fine. Everything but his shooting seems to be fine. Even with some lapses his defense has been amazing and he has been rebounding really well. However, his inability to make shots is hurting the magic.

Paolo does not workout in Orlando.

Yeah, he never has but suddenly it's an issue. In the summer, most guys go to LA or something or the place they grew up. Most guys don't stay in the city they play ball in.

There is alot going on... I've said this in the Atlanta game. The team outside of Franz and Suggs have dead legs due to the type of training camp they had.

Prunty (the new assistant coach) said during one of the preseason games that the team was playing sluggish due to how much running they were doing. Coach Mose said something similar around this time stating the team had poor conditioning when it came to the type of style play they wanted to run.

What happens when people are tired/sluggish? You lack energy, lose focus, and you dont have the strength, you dont move too well, become forgetful nor dont you have the presence of mind to focus on attention to detail (which makes good teams great).

Now you add in new players and a COMPLETELY overhauled system and you have this. Because there isn't much of a preseason anymore that simulates the compressed schedule to sort of work these things out. You try to figure it out in the first month of the season. Good thing is for the Magic is that its not something that can't be fixed. Players eventually get into gameshape and the focus gets sharper and the chemistry gets better. The hope is that the confidence does not waiver. That would just kill this season.

I believe this team will get it together and we won't really remember this.

Hard to argue. Watching both teams last night there was such a stark difference to how they moved on offense. Bulls continued to drive and kick out, then drive and kick again plus non stop moving on perimeter, then on our end it was stand and watch and take a turn to drive and try draw a foul or go iso, no movement whatsoever. Whoever was at point would dribble up and hand off then go sit in corner. Nothing has changed in 3 years? I mean Mose had Fultz doin the same thing, sitting in the **** corner letting his man clog the lane. Why is Bane the one driving and kicking out to P and Franz instead of the opposite? That’s coaching. He has no clue what his rotations are, game to game they are wildly different. Jett for 5 mins here, Isaac for 3 mins here , Jase for a few mins here. Pick a lane and stick with it for a few games and let them settle. We can’t continue paying Isaac this much dead money to ride the bench. There has to be a disconnect between Mose and Front office on this right? We are crying out for rim protection. Strat playing Isaac 20+ a night for next month and the. Finally make a bloody decision either keep him or waive/trade. We are finding out nothing with him playing 6 minutes a night. We’re all pretty convinced he’s cooked but let’s find out for good

I think you are probably right (I hope so). None of us really know how training camp was run and Mose may have run the hell out of them and their legs are not there yet. When the conditioning catches up a lot of these issues go away. Conditioning for the style they want to play really seems like the biggest issue to me right now. I see players blowing by Franz which I've never seen before. There were stretches last year when Franz would guard the best guard on the other team (Ja, Trey, Ant, etc.) and do a very solid job. I think we all need to (quoting Aaron Rogers) R-E-L-A-X and see where we are in a couple weeks. I know we all have super high expectations and this start has been a real bummer.
