Moore needs to be a bigger emphasis in the offense. By Johnson and Williams

Well, the good news is that throw from Caleb to DJ was awesome, the next 3 teams we play all have losing records, and the Bulls are 2-0.

I know I’ve been critical of Caleb, but he’s only 23, and we’re seeing Baker Mayfield and Mac Jones playing well.

So.... I still want so badly, in my heart, to believe Caleb is that guy. But my eyes and my brain tell me differently. So far I see poor football IQ/decision making, an inaccurate arm, slow reaction times.

And it's not like he is starting one of his first few games. We're well into season 2.

I don’t see any point of trading our best offensive player. If not best player overall

Season after season we see the evidence that a young Qb should start on the bench behind a solid vet.

25 yards just on KO returns, which are inexcusable. and effectively a 20+ yarder for lining up incorrectly on the great punt. plus ford wtf

sorry, i thought we were talking about arm strength. he's certainly not been accurate throwing outside of pocket. that late drop by rome didn't help success rate. amazing throw

Strength is part of it but if the ball isn't catchable who cares (the one to Rome was though).

My fear is that Williams turns out to be another Zach Wilson. While Williams is certainly more talented, a lot of the things that people fawned over for Caleb, were the same for Wilson. Ridiculous comparisons to Mahomes and rodgers and unrealistic expectations are the result of horrible scouting. And a possible consequence of that is Williams so much pressure that he can’t even be average. Yes, it’s not even halfway through his second and he needs patience, but most of mine was spent after firing lovie

He's more in the Trevor Lawrence/ Kyler Murray tier.

Not a bust (Wilson, Trubisky, Fields) but a disappointment.

Still early but that's what I'm seeing.

Those were some of the names tossed around at comps on here before he was drafted.

That is a very dangerous tier because it usually ends up in an overpay on that 2nd contract if the team that drafted him keeps him. You end up paying "franchise" money to a very average QB.

There is still time though. I think we are all just waiting for it to finally "click" with him.
Jealousy is a sickness.......get well soon....
